If we lose Jordan, we will be losing more than just Jordan.
Big summer of Strikers moving around. Aguero is leaving Man City. I have a gut feeling he may end up at Barcelona. City looking at Felix, Kane or Haaland. Lacazette will probably leave Arsenal.
I think YEN will be off. His form has been great but Iād personally cash in. Itās going to be a heavily inflated market for Strikers. My only concern is who will we get in replacement.
I can see a mass exodus at Real to try fund a Haaland or Mbappe. I pray to god we dont try and sign Mariano. Wouldnāt say no to an Isco. But we are heavily filled in his position.
If we are going to lose a few players but recoup good money. We will need to spend it and probably try bring a few ānamesā in. Just my belief Barcelona and Real will go all out this summer despite financial issues. To have any chance over the next few seasons, Monchi in my opinion will need to change the game plan some what.
Agree with this statement here. I feel like next year if he stays itāll be a five goal season or something like that. Heās not exactly a one season wonder but at the same time I donāt see him getting into double figures for multiple seasons
Heās scored 15 in la liga and 6 in Champions this season.
Half of his Champion league games he came on in the second half between minute 60 and 80.
Heās barely 23 and strikers reach their peak at around 28 usually.
Also, he seems increasingly aware of where both his legs are at any given moment, definite signs of improvement especially with his first touch.
In consideration of the fact that heās never been played in a system that ideally suits him, I think itās a good idea to hold on to him as long as we
can.
Unless the offers start to reach the stratosphere.
Tim you make a good point I must admit. But as Jim mentioned, he can go on streaks of not scoring.
If he were to stay next summer Iād be happy because I really like YEN but at the same if we get a good offer for him we shouldnāt block it
All forwards do that⦠Iād bet you couldnāt find one that never had a bare patch. Have faith, Iām more concerned by the service he gets.
This is YENās first full season and heās already gone past the 20-goal mark. Weāve played like ass in the last month and he still managed to score in some of those games.
I agree with Tim in that iāll be fine with offers if they become astronomical. ā¬50m minimum.
Highly doubt that, either he has to score two more hattricks or he“s not gonna get bought for more than 40m. If we get close to that, its a deal for me.
I hope the PL teams come for Ocampos, with the image of last season in mind. But as I have said before, he will have to do with Leeds and Wolves type of clubs. But maybe he wants to stay longer, or another year maybe. This wouldn“t be my preference tho.
We might have an eye on Mateu Morey (21), the spanish right back from Dortmund. He did quite well against us, although not spectacular he looked promising. At that stage at that age, not bad at all. If he is interested in a spanish return. Could be a good long term right back.
May have been mentioned before but a few Rome papers and forums are saying that Roma are after Jordan. They also mention Juve and Inter are also interested.
Also have seen us and pretty much the whole top 5 in Spain and Dortmund being linked with Olmo in a few German articles. Will try find them again. But again no surprise thereās speculation on him after a few goals this week on national duty.
Joan Jordan is hot property apparently, really hope he stays
I think this would be a good signing. Someone young and fresh who can take on the mantle of Jesus Navas after he retires.
A Plus for Ocampos is I think his playstyle fits better in the PL too.
