Summer 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumours etc

I was worried some player would exit the airport, feel the heat and decide not to sign. Similar things have happened.

Does anyone remember which player left because he failed to acclimatise to Sevilla, got a feeling it might have been Wober.

One thing that I noticed is that it looks like he was unveiled as the number 12 kit.

Montiel, on the other hand, looks to be given the 2 kit, which means that Gnagnon must have gone somewhere.

Hasn’t gone anywhere yet, just wasn’t assigned a number.

This has been one heck of a transfer window for Sevilla. I’m glad we added Montiel since Navas is getting older and he did get a lot of injuries last year.

Lamela has already started his Sevilla career with a bang, and I think @SurreySevilla has made a convincing argument that Rafa Mir is a good striker

Looking forward to this season a lot

Maybe but 12 was Kanoutes number, so he might keep it as he looks to be a fan according to his Instagram when he met him.

Depends whether monchi and club needs the money to balance the books especially with all the signings we making.

From the latest it’s still possible we can get Delaney and corona. Monchi still wants both and working hard to come to a mutual agreement on both.

Delaney especially as Dortmund have lowered the price to 7 million euros and sevilla have offered 6, therefore it’s likely when it’s that close a deal will be reached. The player and his agent definitely wants to come.

Corona depends on the new passport and sorting the extra complication of money with twenty. Between Porto and sevilla it’s agreed but monchi trying to solve the extra money situation regarding the Dutch club. Hopefully it gets resolved as corona apparently wants to join too.

Then we linked with Boateng and also kamara as centre backs. If we get most of these and with the players we already signed and keeping most core players we can probably afford to let kounde go if we get 80 million.

Only if we get most these players though and 80 million should we let kounde go. As no doubt I’d want to keep him too but if we need that money and we got considerable squad depth then if Chelsea meet the price tag then they can have him.

Is the potential departure of Ocampos just a rumor or there is more into it?

Read it on Vamosmisevillafc - they often come up with crazy rumors and the last one is that we are about to sell Ocampos and buy Sarabia… who knows.

I was so sad when Sarabia left the club, such a good player

Not heard anything re Ocampos. But reports are filtering through that Sarabia will be forced out by the arrival of Messi, especially if Mbappe stays.
There is talk from France of PSG considering a loan deal for the next 12 months with a purchase clause inserted into the agreement.
R Sociedad and Sevilla are said to be interested.

Come on Monchi. Go and get him. I would take Sarabia over Ocampos any day.

I read somewhere that an English club is offering 25m for Ocampos, but it doesn’t say which club.

Last year it was Wolves, but I really don’t expect it to be a better team this year no top 10. Maybe a Newcastle or a Brighton for example. Where they try to get a possible X factor to get them on a lucky fligt above their normal standings. But one thing I noticed is how Lucas is constantly grabbing his groin or some upper leg muscle in his left leg. Literally every game. If that never goes over, he’s doomed atleast for the highest level of play where every bit of fitness matters. He just hasn’t been the same.

According to Transfermarkt, no he has not, at least any significant injuries

Who does the MM faithful want as the 4th winger for SFC? I know who i’m voting for… :eyes:

  • Guedes
  • Sarabia
  • Tecatito

Voted for Guedes, the fact that he offers more direct deep play and speed as well as potential. But pure quality Sarabia is the best player, yet the least favourite choice for me considering our current squad. Also I really don“t think Lope see“s Tecatito as a winger, especially not the left wing. He can fill (and perform) on like 8 positions, which I know Lope and Monchi do like. But generally I think he will be best at the rightback or right mid, positions that for now seem to be covered.

Maybe its a bit wishfull thinking to unlock the promise of Guedes, but Corona and Sarabia are top quality and welcome.
