Summer 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumours etc

Couldn’t watch that video in Spain but I found this one and after watching this I’m infected.

I don’t think we really need Dani Alves I think Navas, Corona, and Montiel should be enough squad depth down the right

I agree too. While Alves was a legend for us he’s too old now at 37/38. It wouldn’t make sense to bring him back now.

Finally a Corona we can cheer for. Instead of locking us down, he can unlock a lot of defences with that mastery of skill on display.

But now my main concern is the selling-side of this transferwindow. Especially the attackers rotation is overloaded. We might’ve been bummed out by the departure of Gil. But with this many attackers I doubt he could’ve gotten enough minutes to improve or at least retain that €25mil value.

At the beginning of this transferwindow I kindoff expected to see Kounde, Munir, Lopes, De Jong, Idrissi and Jordan to be off the payroll by now. And all of them are still here…

We added Montiel who was necessary because Pozo was deemed not good enough, okay. Correct me if I’m wrong, but we still haven’t gotten anyone to back-up Acuna at the left side either besides a out-of-place Rekik, who’s underwhelming in my personal opinion. I just strongly think we should only look at necessities and not buy even more luxary than we already have.

Ludwig Augustinsson just arrived today, he’s a left back. Our wings are sorted, the centre is the uncertainty now. Corona not confirmed as of yet.

Ludwig Augustinsson is the official fourth signing for us - signed for 4 seasons.

Olympiakos can get themselves a serious team out of our players…way to go…

Gotta love how fast monchi does business. Just a week ago, there were hardly any links, and now Monchi has completed two transfers of players who weren’t linked a week ago. Crazy fast

Danish media reporting Delaney as a done deal. Just a matter of days.

Is he the Fernando-backup? On the national team and for FC Copenhagen he was one of the two central midfielders. He and Højbjerg played alongside each other on the national team with Højbjerg being the pittbull while Delaney was more of a controlling midfielder. In our system I don’t really see him in a Fernando-role.

He is a real fighter nonetheless and he does not back down from a challenge. I’m excited about this transfer - we do have a great record with danish players.

Delaney is in Sevilla already.

As I speculated, 4 signings and none were on the radar. Monchi works in silence and that takes some doing.

Yeah seen that on Twitter. That’s great news. Hopefully he can be as awesome as Poulsen was for us. If we get him and also corona we in serious business. As we already have 4 top signings.

We still getting linked with Kabak too. As well as the Nigerian striker hot property striker umar sadiq from almeria.

It’s already been a sensational window but if we get sadiq and kabak to go with the others on top of keeping all our core players bar kounde we gonna be battling well on all fronts. Vamos!

Not bad, Welcome Delaney! Some Scandinavians added to the mix, different assets and for sure workers, As a footballer, Delaney is so well rounded, great can do it all player. Still a 15m value player we picked up for about a third of that. Good deal Monchi.

a week ago, Monchi said he wasn´t happy with how everything was panning out on the market, I´m curious what are his thoughts now things went this quick the past days.

That’s what I call nice business. Monchi must have heard our cries, he gave us a bunch of surprises to cheer for…

I agree there, feels like it we are going a bit deep. All those big salaries, stacking up and no one leaving. That’s risky business if things go south this season. Worries me a bit, yet I do like the ambition we are showing to really take over. Hope the coin flips our way, and we are well calculated for, all those costs we are getting ourselves into.

I’m loving the ambition though. I think it shows how serious we are. We signing quality to add to our quality squad already. We still do have a few weaker links or players that don’t play much in squad. Monchi will let about 3-4 of them go and bring a few more in.

The difference this time is we keeping most of our main players and adding quality on top of it. I can’t wait to see how things play out this season but I feel we gonna have a great magic carpet ride.
