We can finally rest easy…

I’m happy to hear this. He’s an all time great but that is in the past. Sevilla needs to look to the future.

Ramos will end up at a club with more money than sense. Chelsea anyone?

Chelsea or PSG…

I am tired of the big named clubs buy all our promising talent then sending them back when they are old and worthless. Especially in this case with Ramos. He did the city dirty. We need to hold on to our talent. I really do not want to see Kounde or Gil leave. They are the base in which we can get to the top.

Idk Chelsea might be spending a lot of cash on Haaland

It has got PSG written all over it. But I believe they will rather sign Varane to partner Kimpembe like the french national team

Ramos…

He’s got no club lined up. Still under contract with Madrid until Jan22. Don’t know how that works.

He explained that he wanted a 2 years extension and Madrid offered 1. When he finally accepted the 1 year contract the club said the offer of 1 year had expired. Now there’s no offer.

He spoke very well at the press round, very diplomatic. He leaves Madrid as the player with the most trophies and 4th most games played and also, as the player with most red cards in Spanish football history.

Wow… I know RM (Uncle Flo & co) are bastards, but to that level? They were joking around like that with a club legend, reminds me of a similar situation with Raul who went on to join Schalke back then.

I never paid much attention to RM’s internal ā€˜mishaps’ Just the ones on the field. But it sounds about right.

I think it says more about the level of money worries the President has.

I’m getting the feeling that Kounde is going to be around one more season. I don’t think Monchi settles for less than 65 million and I don’t think teams have the money to spend that kind of loot this summer. I think with folks in the stands next season, the opportunity to cash in is much higher.

The question is, does the contracts expiring and the sale of De Jong (assuming) allow Monchi to make the moves needed? @Edinho might get his wish of keeping the starting XI together + Gil and Pozo.

Not Sevilla news, but Calhanoglu has switched from AC Milan to Inter. I can’t imagine a player in the modern era doing that in Sevilla.

Serie A is weird like that. Too many players & coaches have switched directly or indirectly b/w Milan/Inter. Zlatan, Seedorf, Pirlo, and the list goes on. It’s really just business with them.

Hopefully it’s true so we can move on to players that can improve Sevilla without killing our budget.

Jose Castro confirmed that there is an agreement on the renewal of our legend Navas for 3 more seasons - will be official soon.

Seems to be the 2+1 that was rumored lately, nice one!

Rumours is in the UK suggesting Wolves may have made an offer for En-Nesyri. Doubt he would leave for Wolves but I suppose money talks sometimes.
It’s also suggesting that Rafa Mir could also be part of the deal.

YEN stated that he doesn’t want to leave Sevilla, but like you say, money talks.

Hope we don’t lose him to Wolves. Ina way that would be a slap in the face since were a bigger club than them.
