Ya know, the Gil to Barcelona links are kinda concerning me right now. We ought a give him a contract right away!
In normal circumstances, Kounde wouldâve been gone last season. He will fund our entire summer though.
In your opinion, if we still have Ocampos next season, should we bring Bryan back, even if he might not get the starting minutes? or let him go on loan again?
Bring him back and get him into the first team. First of all, Ocampos has kinda been useless this year and having a younger player nipping at his boots may motivate him to do better. Second of all, Gil isnât gonna like being shipped out on loan every season and heâll look for a transfer if we arenât careful
Kounde can go for me, we should cash in. He seems to believe all the hype written about him in the press earlier in the season and thinks heâs far too good for the likes of us. Let him go and warm Liverpools / R Madrids bench.
I hope he does well IMO. How much do you guys think we can get from him?
Totally agreed on this both for Kounde and YEN.
YEN definitely has potential to be a top striker, but I wouldnât totally mind either if we could get a decent fee for him.
We just would need to get a decent young striker in for him ig. Also, I still think people would buy Koundé for crazy amount of money, I mean the guy is 22 or something like that.
Definitely looking forward to the summer transfer market.
Yaâll harsh on Kounde. The dude is playing injured. Kid is good and will be for a long time.
Fair enough. Gonna miss this guy next year
Heâs one of our best (if not the best) players, so Iâd definitely like to keep him, but with only one condition - to be fully committed and not get carried away by the potential offers - that is if we want to achieve more than this season. Also to build a decent team so that we wouldnât heavily rely on the defense to get results.
I think what the âsell Koundeâ camp is implying is more that we believe Monchi could do a lot with 60-70-80m that weâd get from Kounde, add to that what weâd get from YEN (e.g. 25-30m). Otherwise if Kounde and YEN are 100% willing to stay and we donât need the extra cash to get the reinforcements then it would be crazy to say we donât need them.
By the way, for me Kounde is the future top-star of Franceâs defense. If Varane doesnât step it up next season, I can see Kounde safely pairing with Kimpembe for the France NT. Perhaps he wonât get a starter role for EURO 2020, but heâll be called up and will get minutes (depends on Deschamps, although Varane has been crap this season).
Apparently Joan Jordan has been linked with multiple Italian clubs and, you guessed it, West Ham, who seem like theyâre on a quest to steal all our players. I doubt itâs likely he is gonna leave the club next year and he shouldnât because he has the potential to be a club captain after Navas retires, not to mention how important he is in controlling the midfield.
Heâs getting a lot of buzz. I canât see him leaving this soon.
Juan Bernat extended with PSG, so wonât be going anywhere in summer.
Wow, I read about Golovin we might be after him. After the world cup, man what a player he was. Hope itÂŽs true, only 24 still.
During the WC it looked like he was using doping lol
I think thatâs for the better. We should try and focus in getting a younger left back that can be an understudy to Acuña, whether that be Javi Vazquez or someone elsewhere. If we want to be pushing for titles we need young, high potential players. Only problem is they are really expensive, but if we can sign a few more Koundes and YENs, we could be a serious threat in the futuree.
What!?!?! When??? I thought he was gonna be a Sevilla star one day
Kubo would fit for Sevilla , or Isak
