Sevilla FC 2025 Transfer Rumors

Mariano, Veliz, Iheanacho…

Just being better than those guys is the first step.

Also, Nianzou is gearing up for surgery and will be out for even more time. No better reason to get another CB. I’m just hoping the optics of benching a captain in Gudelj is not affecting this decision.

I have my fingers crossed that he will be good!

Highest paid player Nianzou. Smh

isn’t that Saul, by far?

Rumors of Jordan Torunarigha out of KAA Gent in Belgium. Another former Nigerian international. 27yo, left footed CB. Contract expiring in the summer.

What’s up with Sevilla and Nigerians lately?

could have something to do with our relationship with the Nigerian Professional Football League. I’m not sure what our investment entails, but I’m sure signing Nigerian internationals has some club benefits:

Akor Adams apparently said: Creo que soy un jugador completo que quiere ayudar a su equipo

Translated: I think I’m a complete player who wants to help his team.

COMPLETE

Reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl5e6l6-CB4

Well I’ve never heard of him. But given we have now lost Nianzou for however long, Marcao continually gets injured or sent off and Gudelj is well, shit. Seems that an out and out left sided CB to partner Bade is exactly what we need. Hope if it happens that it will work out.

I think his wages are partially covered by Atletico.

Akor arrived Saturday, didn’t train Monday or Tuesday, excercised apart from the group, his presentation was low-key, first in a suit holding a shirt and then a publicity shot in his kit on some artificial turf.

I hope this isn’t another injured player.

He played until January 12th with Montpellier and I couldn’t find any recent injury info for him.

Seems to be solid physically, at least on paper

Let’s see what the guy’s made of.

First minutes could be vs. Getafe, or better yet… Vs. Barca :see_no_evil:

If he doesn’t have much history of injuries he’s probably OK. What’s the general opinion of Victor Orta, I don’t have an opinion yet but Iheanacho is too slow to react to be a centre forward, just not la liga quality.

Overall, I don’t think he’s been bad so far. Especially with the financial restraints. But I wanna see more (and better) from him before I say he’s good.

I’m kind of with you. Too early to say. He’s had some huge hits… Lukebakio, Ejuke and a few utter failures. The salary constraints and terrible contracts that Monchi had him dealing with had to be challenging.

Just some quick hits:

News today saying he’s done for the season.

Orta’s still working on Barco’s exit. Porto no longer wants to loan him, but we’re still trying to send him back to Brighton.

Pedro Ortiz might be transferred to Cordoba.

And lastly, we might be witnessing the end of #SusoNation. We are dealing with Valencia, and it’s again a discussion of who pays what, with none of the parties willing to pay anything. Reminds me of the Rafa deal.

There’s rumors we are going after Sangante of Le Havre as a replacement for Nianzou.

He seems very similar in stature with Nianzou - but looks to be more agile, which is always an advantage in the CB position.

Sangante’s performance vs. PSG recently:

Not bad to be honest.

Rumor has it, loan with a purchase option. If this happens, he could pair well with Bade - as we can’t count on Marcao obviously.

The January window will only be successful if we manage to sign or loan in a CB with a purchase option.

If we rely on the amateur Gudelj, Kike ‘the retarded gambler’ Salas… and the infamous Marcao… we’re done.

Estadio Deportivo reported it to be issues with beuracratic paperwork around social security. He trained with the team today and is registered. Unknown if he will make Saturday’s squad.
