Seriously? Cutrone has played for both my clubs (Wolves and VCF) and was rubbish at both. Something about headless and chicken comes to mind. I’d even take Rafa Mir over him. That’s how little I rate Cutrone. You can do better.

Thanks for confirming that! My bad. I didn’t realise it was as bad as that. We really need to make a sale soon. It sucks to lose bade but we probably get the most money from him.
With Pedrosa out injured atm, that means either Carmona or a canterano at left back on Sunday

The problem is we can’t agree a fee/deal with any club. This is with Juanlu, bade, Iheanacho.
The worst case scenario is we hold out too long, end up selling in the end but don’t get what the club wanted and it too late to get any decent replacements. We just get desperate in last week either struggling to sign anyone or get bottom of the barrel players weaker than last season.
I never been a fan of leaving things to last week and last minute but this looks like happening. What a soap opera.

According to Fabrizio Romano Juanlu is off to Italy.
Napoli are optimistic to get the green light for Juanlu deal as the agreement is at final stages.
Details being sorted with Sevilla on deal structure, sell-on clause but clear intention on player side.

Read about this one this morning. Seems like he’s pals with Almeyda, so I suspect this was a perfect inroads to coaching… former coach and former club.
I’m hoping to see him on the touchline and in the locker room helping bring the squad together, build the environment of this squad better than it’s been in some time.

Not just pals, I saw Lamela play at AEK Athens earlier this year with Almeyda as coach, so they’ll know each other well. I’m very surprised he’s retired so early, he’s only 33 and played well in the game I saw (he scored.) While his last season in Seville was plagued by injuries he doesn’t seem to have had any major ones last season (only missed 4 games early on) so could have certainly done a season or two more playing in Greece or similar. Anyway, he knows the manager’s playing style well and knows the Seville squad so sounds a decent deal.

Great news, Rafa Mir reportedly headed to Elche this season! Hoping we’re not paying ALL his wage bill, but I strongly suspect he’s still going to be dragging down the team’s salary bill, at least in part.

They just signed Andre Silva so not sure if they signing Mir too. It still speculation but they signed Silva.
