We should get one done!

Totally…I listened to some of them. His English is great. Much better than some of the English from some of the other players. Plus, maybe it could segue to an interview on the podcast?

He only played one 90 minutes is what causes him to struggle. The fans want him to score in tiny amount of minutes he is in.

Last week, we had the İstanbul derby, where Fenerbahçe hosted Galatasaray, their biggest and historic rival. And Fenerbahçe got beaten 1-3 in their home turd. YEN came 70th minute and was unable to score, though he was in the center of any meaningful scoring chances.

He missed the following chance on 90+4, which really pissed off the fans.

He seems to lose his self confidence everytime he misses a goal.

Let’s hope he finds his momentum soon.

The Galatasaray defender there was the other guy rumored to come to SFC when Diego Carlos and Kounde left… pretty decent stop there if you ask me

Saúl left in a wheelchair unable to walk. Sounds like that hammy is bad. Medical tomorrow I think to figure out how bad it is.

Any update on Saul’s injury?

High-grade biceps femoris (hamstring) tear. Might be at least 6 - 8 weeks before he’s back on a training pitch

I tore my calf last week while playing football (6 a side) with friends - grade 2 :face_holding_back_tears:

Haven’t played for about 5 years and came back… bam!

Hamstring should be a lot worse I suppose. However, with professional sports treatment, Bade will come back strong!

There’s no doubt now that it’s purely tactical so he can stay back while the other fullback bombs forwards.

Given both have their limitations, do you think Juanlu defends better than Carmona?

Carmona has played well in the last 2 matches, especially last night vs :poop:.

However, I still think Juanlu is more versatile and can contribute more than Carmona in any given time.

Let’s see what Carmona does vs. a team that can actually attack and is threatening, :poop: was piss poor in every aspect.

Looking at some stats today:

  • Ejuke is second behind fellow Nigerian Moses Simon in dribbles per 90 across Europes top 5 leagues.

  • Sevilla leads the top 5 leagues in the “Aggression” stat with 24 yellow cards and 4 reds. La Liga teams are top 4 (Valladolid, Villarreal, Cela Vigo) with Verona in 5th.

  • Sevilla are 4th in the top 5 leagues in dribbles per game (11.1). Bayern (12.7) is first followed by Barcelona (11.6) and Real Madrid (11.4).

  • Neyland had a 7.7 rating in yesterday’s match

  • Ejuke had a 7.6 rating and had 5 dribbles with a 92% pass success

  • Sevilla have a 3 game home winning streak.

I agree that Juanlu offers more, but strictly defensively (both aren’t great atm), the pick is Carmona.

It’s not even just him guarding the opposing player, it’s also what he does with the ball that i worry about. And whenever we’ve looked good in general, the opposition has been poor.

We’re up against some real wingers at Barça next, so we’re better off doubling up that wing with Carmona AND Navas/Juanlu. Thankfully that’s not every week in La Liga, but unless we see an exemplary performance in 2 weeks, those constant barrages could cause further damage to that defence’s confidence. :face_with_peeking_eye:
