Worrying news out of training - Agoume left with a foot injury and Robbie and Isaac left with a soar throat (hopefully this bug gets out of the team quickly).

Vargas has missed the last two days of training with inflammation in the knee. He is out for Sunday’s match. The injury he has suggests that he might have a slight tear in the meniscus. That would be troubling.
It looks like we will rely once again on Sierra, Alfon, Ejuke and hopefully we will see the new guy Correia. Who do you think gets the start.
I doubt we see Fofana start as it sounds like he isn’t 100% fit.

I figure the lineup will be close to what we saw in the second half of Atleti, with Sangante slotting in for Castrin.

I don’t think we’ll have a solid defence overnight, but can we at least not give away cheap goals? LGP said at the very start of the season we should already be in survival mode. I need to see that in the players tomorrow.

Stronger bench than starting lineup :laughing:

But understandable in order to adapt the new guys need to fit in gradually.

If Guridi performs anywhere near like vs. Atletico he should be benched for good.

It will be tricky, but we should be able to win this.

I’m not sure how I feel about today’s game. Certainly not a bad way to start the season, but I’m not yet confident that we are any good.
