I thought the lineup looked interesting with a handful of the new guys, but there is not much creativity in that midfield. And on top of that I think Espanyol is finding too much space in there as well. It doesnā€™t look balanced.

I figure Kocho will get substituted early. On a yellow and made a reckless tackle.

Two teams that seem to have no real idea of what to do. Espanyol canā€™t stop handing us the ball, and we canā€™t see how to turn that into an actual change on goal. Expect Kocho to come off soon.

Great atmosphere too, hard not to respect Espanyol fans. that 16 minute tribute gave me goosebumps.

Terrible performance in the first half, but just as expected with this bunch on the pitch.

First and foremost, you can pick any striker of any team in EFL One and they will be on par or better than Ure. His ball control and first touch are practically non existent. All he offers is some slight physicality up front, which is totally useless when paired with low overall football skills and low football IQ. He should never get more than 10-15 mins in a match.

Sierra - sometimes steps his game up but he is showing every time that he shouldnā€™t be a starter, max 20 mins for him in second halves for now.

The midfield trio isnā€™t working. Surprised of Guridiā€™s drastic drop on level in the last 2 matches. His passes were terrible and was often out of position leaving gaps in the mid, the same goes for Kocho and Agoume, though Agoume is still the most stable of the 3. Will have to see what Fofana offers and then if heā€™ll be a starter as expected, Guridi and Kocho should fight for a starting role.

LGP tried (kudos) a midfield without Peque but we have to see what Fofana can do before wanting to put in Peque there again.

Ejuke good with some dribbles but not enough.

So far only the defense was solid, and thereā€™s no one on the bench better than them, until January at least. Maaaybe Castrin vs Salas but Sangante is a very solid CB. Wingbacks are OK though Iā€™d like to see Julio Diaz in his natural position in the second half.

Bring on Correia, Stassin and Fofana. Maybe Isaac later on too. And letā€™s win this fucking match, which is very, very winnable.

Iā€™m at work so i only caught the first & last 10min. Am i right in saying Guridi is still looking like a passenger regardless of his role?

Should have just started with 2 strikers up front.
