Agreed…but I’m pretty much convinced I’ll never buy a Kappa kit or otherwise…that logo is just embarrassingly hideous. I don’t know how their marketing people have never thought to themselves “why don’t we just use a K instead of the naked couple and get an immediate 10% uptick in sales?”

Random anecdote about AI and football. Given how error prone AI seems to be when it comes to sports results and such, last time I asked Gemini for some results from some seasons back, it was like “I’m sorry, but here are websites where you can find this information”.
And I was annoyed because that’s the whole point of AI, to save me from digging around the websites. So I thought to myself, I’ve seen this before…at work, you’ll often get staff afraid to give a wrong answer, hedging endlessly…and what do you do? You tell them, “don’t worry, just give me your best answer, I’m not going to be mad if it’s not perfect.”
And sure enough, I told Gemini to answer the question even if it didn’t want to. And sure enough, I got my answers even though the AI was trying to hedge.
Moral of the story: just tell AI to stop worrying and do its job. If you’re worried about perfection, you shouldn’t be consulting AI in the first place.

And the hits keep coming. I was hoping this loan period in Valencia would salvage some value so we could sell him next season…so much for that. While we don’t know yet the validity of the accusations, investigations/trial will reveal more information, but if there is enough information to arrest him, it is not likely for Rafa to weasel his way out. Unlike WBY, who actually had skill on the field, even if the claims against Rafa are unsubstantiated, his value is significantly tainted as is WBY.
