Braulio Vázquez from Osasuna is being rumored as a potential Monchi replacement. He’s done a great job at Osasuna so let’s see.

Forever Monchi’s Men.

As long as he doesn’t somehow become a toxic, Sergio Ramos-esque character…I vote for eternally Monchi’s Men. The team will always be Monchi’s men, just like the Biris continue to pay homage to Biri Biri all these years later

A lot of fans pissed with Monchi after he said this before saying his goodbye https://twitter.com/leonsfdo/status/1669793112460238877?s=46&t=fNoInovy_3RTQU0bZI3hcQ

That’s nothing, just tryna get ingratiated with the fans. Even down to the reporting of his departure, it seems like folks continuously want drama.

Hope he does well there, especially for Emery, who’s been disrespected countless times in England.

And i also gotta ask, was the Diego Carlos move premeditated? I’ve been thinking about how that transfer got finalized so quickly.

Idk man for someone Sevilla through and through you’d expect a goodbye speech before completely committing to Aston Villa like that. And I hope he doesn’t start taking players from Sevilla like Emery did at psg and Monchi did at Roma.

Krychowiak to PSG was Emery robbing us. Nzonzi to Roma was us robbing them. And now the cycle continues, cause i’m convinced DC to Villa was planned. We had just renewed his contract to include a €80M clause and he left for €30M?? :unamused: Hopefully that was it.

Silver lining: Monchi is going to learn English and will be able to do interviews on our podcast when he returns in 3 years.

How about something like Siempre Sevillistas? Simple and neat
Or perhaps something like Sevillistas World, to reflect English-speaking forum?

Just hope Monchi won’t be able to take some important players from Sevilla.
But we’ll probably have to compete with him and Aston Villa too now, in Spanish and European markets. They can offer more money, we can offer more glory perhaps and Champions League exposure.

I imagine there’d be a no poaching/non-compete clause in any exit agreement to protect current or prospective players (at least for this summer). I doubt Monchi would want to court any further animus from the club & fans by nicking Bono etc.

Maybe they could take the dead weight like Papu & Januzaj off our hands though??

My thought was that Diego was sent over for EL presentation to convince Monchi etc that Birmingham wasn’t such a bad place after all…
