In the end we did well to draw. Iāll take it as we were battered 2nd half. Better fighting spirit and attack in first half.
Lots to work on but we played a very good side. We take the point and at least it moved us out the bottom 3.

Sampaoli needs to prioritize his work this way:
Mentality coaching - 95%
Tactics and everything else - 5%
The players and the quality are there, lots of work to be done but we have all rights to be optimistic.

Game over, we donāt do football but I trust Sampaoli to instill something resembling football in the period up to the break, it needs to start showing in Mallorca. Our players have sufficient quality but have been brainwashed by Lope ball.

Iām getting the feeling our counters will be more polished under this coach. The willingness is there w/ more risks taken & more effort put in.
We did well against a very good team that shouldāve destroyed us w/ our defending standards. But whatās been an issue for a while is the midfield. If Sampaoli finds a way to transform that, weāll be flying high.

We need to find an identity that other clubs cannot easily define, then we will fly, thereās no better Manager than Sampaoli for that. Once he gets a system in place weāll start to function. For now he doesnāt have the right players although itās a strong squad, he needs to manufacture a new identity from Isco, Papu and Lamela. Sort out the midfield. He also needs to decide on strikers, Dolberg is useless in this liga. I think it can only be Rafa Mir in the equation. Iām confident he can get us up to the top half of the table.
