MD11 - Sevilla FC at Real Madrid [22/23]

Maybe not

Rafa Mir…FFS!!

What could he have come there?

Carmona held him on. Damn it we deserve more! Questionable subs by JS

Crap break down there. Actually can’t believe Vini passed it off.

What was Mir doing? Criminal and you can’t do that against these. Damn!

We tried. Bad subs for this game. Deadly punishment from Real.

It’s the same every time.

In fairness that’s a rocket but they always do it

Shame, we did well for 80 mins

Fair play to Real Madrid. As usual they step up when needed and show why they champions and a quality side. What a strike!

Wish there was some urgency now though

The subs fucked the game up… no quality in the bench whatsoever.

No strikers for this system either… too bad. We could’ve at least hold RM to a draw as we totally dominated them until falling badly.

This loss should serve as a lesson for Sampa and the team, but the one that needs to take serious notes and try to fix the mess that he and Castro have done in the pre-season and with keeping the previous impotent manager.

This shows that the potential is there, and we can face even one of the strongest clubs in the world, plus dominate them and play as in RSP even when away.

Monchi, Castro - take fucking notes and do the right moves in January or this season is 100% on you.

He’s not suited for the system, but he hasn’t done much under Lope either. He’s for a team like Mallorca, where even Muriqi shines and is their main player. Mir is not a top 6 club player, he’s too average for that. YEN too.

I agree with you on both of players. We all know we need 2 top strikers either in January or next summer. Both just don’t cut it and it’s killing us as the potential is there elsewhere in squad.

He had to sub in order to keep that pace, the subs failed him… not much else for Sampa to do. He is already a hero in my eyes as he very quickly showed signs of change in mentality in a squad that would’ve lose 172,000 to 0 against this RM, to have them dare to win and play better than them for most of the match tonight. That’s quite an achievement in itself!

Lots more to come… now the ball is on Monchi’s and Castro’s court.

It wasn’t the game to bring him, in the first place. Not sure what Sampaoli’s idea behind it was, but it shouldn’t lose you the game either but it is just terrible set up in general. Annoyed but we will learn from this, exactly as Shendm says.

We deserved at least a tie. The first two goals they scored were gifted by us.
