We’re not just barely fighting for UCL. There are four games left to play, and we’re seven points ahead of the UEL places. That’s a pretty good place to be.

Or simply pack his bags and leave = resign. That’s even better.

We probably don’t need to win two games.

A lot of that depends on Betpiss. They’ll be confident for sure after the cup success.

Clawing 7 points back in 4 games is a tough ask for them though. Lose to Real and Barca and they can’t catch us. Sociedad probably too far behind.

So top 4 is probably ours but it’s not been good.

Sevilla undone by possibly the best free-kick of the season, totally unstopable but that doesn’t excuse the play. I was about to write that Sevilla would go more defensive and try to wrap up the game with a counter attack but Cadíz looked more likely to score, and then they scored.

YEN? recover the €20m and say goodbye.

Our play was unforgivable and totally at the door of Lopetegui.
It really isn’t at the level of the players.
I expect the Lopetegui thread to go red hot.

Do you really need UCL with this kind of play? I’ts not that 4th place would make things magically better after 3 seasons of the same shit.

Hell, I’d pay someone 20m to take him at this point.

After 3 Lope season, I can’t see the direction of what tactics and team Lope and Monchi want to build.
You can see the direction very clearly with Man City & Liverpool (of course…), Arsenal, Dortmund, Atletico (not so success), even Villarreal to some extend.
I’ll put our team along Man United. Tacticless, buy player based on I don’t know what.

I mean, you’re the biggest advocate for massive changes this summer. Who’s to say that this style of play will continue next season?

So yeah, we need top 4. Clinch UCL for next year, and come out strong in 2022/2023.

There were jeers from the fans at the end. Ramon faithful starting to turn.

That can’t be good from Lope’s point of view.

He’s right though. We’re not doing anything in the Champions League next season if nothing changes.

The opinion of Sevillistas is not favourable toward Lopetegui and has not been for the past few months, they’ve run out of patience.

You know how the saying goes - fool me once… :stuck_out_tongue:

We can’t be fooled for 3 seasons straight and expect something different. I mean, theoretically it can happen but I honestly gave up believing that after this season. There’s no light at the end of the tunnel with this coach, imo.

Even a better team would go to waste with this type of mentality that Lope instilled. It will be very very difficult to come out from it.

Do you suggest we completely write off next season then?

It may be time for one of those summer transfer windows where we sell 15 players and buy 15 players, again

@ShendM admit it, you love Lope really :wink:

But of course, we still need the UCL spot. However, this time for a new manager to build something on that, not for Lope.

If we can’t have optimism about the future, why even be fans anymore?

You reckon he’s gone then at the end of the season even if we get top 4?
