Why why why…

goddamnit

their relentless pressure on our back line finally pays off amid the muck.

That handball didn’t affect the play at all.

That is so stupid. I hate those kind of hand balls. It doesn’t impact the run of play. The ball drops right back to the Sociedad player. So fucking dumb.

I believe partly forced by Bono’s movements, such penalty killer.

Bono is going to be the next Diego Alves as long as Carlos is the squad

The bright side is that DC’s propensity for committing penalties is what will keep him in Sevilla long-term with the biggest clubs staying away.

Agree with others mentioning the midfield. Not enough offensive impetus. Papu should be playing behind the front line.

problem for the last 20 minutes is we cant get it out of the backfield though… we have no link right now.

Almost every player at the back, they are given a pass that has no option yet so they have to make something happen. There is no one anticipating on space to create availability. It’s all one step thinking, without next step in mind. We are giving ourselves these problems.

Looks like Isaak is off

the first 10 minutes or so was pretty wide open in both directions. but then they tightened up on us and we havent handled it well.

They are better than us, plain and simple. It just baffles me that we have to start like this every single game. Lope-ball has been read by every single manager, but then something happens at half-time and we are a whole different team for the last 45 minutes. If we could only play the second half of every game we would be far more interesting…

Second half is not when we start playing well. It’s when desperate Lope takes charge of things and we go for the opportunistic approach of just putting attacking bodies in there, the tactical play is still very limited.

First shot on goal I think in the 43 minute. RAkitic on a volley from 25 yards or more out.

Absolutely. ‘Something’ happens. And that ‘something’ is difficult to define. Just absolute chaos.
