M35: Real Madrid vs Sevilla FC [20/21]

I feel you, I wasn’t a fan at the time all the drama unfolded. I watched his series on Prime Video and I think he is a good human. He might have done Sevilla FC dirty but he loves the city of Sevilla. I think it would be crazy if he came back especially because of his injuries and the money he would cost. I think money is better spent on young talent. But I wouldn’t mind seeing him at Sevilla.

When he is good, he is very good, but I think consistency is something Sevilla could use on the offensive side of the pitch.

If Ramos comes, for me it would be to be a back up if needed and help our new young Koundé replacement to grow as a defender, and in Sergio Ramos you´d have one of the best defensive players available to coach and help you grow, he´s seen it all, won it all, done it all. Even if Ramos has way passed his prime, he knows and has been the best there was. He´s Definitely valuable.

I remember Raul punching the ball into the net and it got past the officials because Madrid needed it badly. I’m with you on VAR, last night would have gone against us big style if not for VAR.

I’ve heard a few of us saying how angry Madrid fans are but I didn’t realise the level until this afternoon. I actually think it’s great to be their ‘Bestia Negra’ and we have cost them ‘la liga’. It’s a badge I would wear with pride and honour.

Do you remember @TimSpence2 the campaign we made with Romaric and co. back then facing RM in CDR semis, it was 2010-11 season now that I checked, the campaign was something like: We will leave you without any title, zero tituli or something? The irony was that they won CDR that season beating Barca in the final, but was an interesting campaign after all. Something like that could’ve been applied this time :stuck_out_tongue:

Hard to see, but I’m putting myself through the pain again. Just watched the 90’ in 30’ from yesterday’s game.

He was such a badass at times and then a donkey some too.

What’s the Barca scarf doing there

Before I moved to Sevilla I was a Barca “fan.” I was mostly sucked into the Messi hype from the 2014 world cup. But I am solely a Sevilla man these days!

Same here. Except I was an Iniesta fan (still am) but I stopped following the club because of the complete nonsense and the toxic fan base. Really glad I joined the Sevilla community because we actually know how to talk to each other and disagree without calling each other names

I feel like 2014/15 it was hard to not like them for the roster they had.

If you’re going to really follow Sevilla, in the long run I think you should move the Barca scarf to storage. I’m not wearing Inter jerseys since the ESL nonsense.

Eh personal preference. I tie it more to Messi than the club. Plus I got that when I was really getting into following European soccer, so it’s more for the personal memories. Sevilla is the only team I root for.

No worries Tyler, it was more of a funny question but it’s always interesting to hear such stories being fans of previous teams from Sevillistas. Mind you, we have @SurreySevilla who is a fan of Sevilla, Inter, Bayer Leverkusen and guess what… :poop: too! And a couple of other clubs in England  :scream:

No offense but isn’t that the definition of front running? I liked the Bulls in the 1990s so I’m not saying I’m immune. Barca was easily the best team in the world at times over the last 15 years. I’ve rooted against them virtually every game they’ve played during that time.
