Comical dive from osasuna’s big Afro dude
I don’t think 15 minutes is going to prejudice YEN for the Barca game.
Either way, we’re up 2-0. Rather not risk it.
Jordan distanced covered is amazing. He’s a great box to box player. Ran the midfield again tonight.
Great strike by papu!
There he is
Last but not least guys
Koundé’s still down, that’s not good at all
Seems to be fine
That’s the kind of match I like on a Monday evening (UK time) no stress and just a job well done. On to the next one!!
Full time! Comfortable win as we hop into third
Great win! We played a very professional and efficient game tonight. Looked dangerous up front, controlled the possession and looked solid at the back.
Happy to see us take advantage of Barca slip up to move into 3rd. Exciting times. We play Barca twice now and we more than ready to face them. Nice to bounce back straight away from the disappointment against Dortmund. Vamos sevilla!
All in all, great great stuff to not let another opportunity to catch up to the top spots slip. Such a great run we are having in the league.
15-3-5. Is just insane.
Papu magnifco. Vidal getting back to the player we had under Emery. Munir Great, Suso becoming a class player here, Rekik really good.
All looks good.
Strangely, didn’t see much of Koundé tonight !
Pretty impressive
Convinced, Luuk de Jong mishit with his left, just straight up swang over it. but the outside of his standing leg, bounces Munir´s perfect assist into the net. Luuk class player
Because more than 50% of our corners are wasted by taking them short. That one was a “proper” corner.
Overall I thought that we played well tonight. We may be boring to watch at times but our passing game was very effective against Osasuna, we had them chasing shadows for most of the match.
I felt that we were in control most of the time and looked like we could always move up a gear or two if needed.
The only downside was that free header we gave them after 3 mins that I thought was a goal all the way. Where was the marking? Kounde and Fernando stood next to each other rooted to the spot.
Someone else mentioned Kounde, his performances in the last two games have not been up to his usual standard.
Our best player by a mile tonight was Oliver, that was probably his best game for us in my opinion.
My only gripe is I wish our defenders would stop passing the ball across our own goal, this tactic of the modern game scares me to death at times.
Was looking through our results and can’t help but realize that three game loss streak in October that saw use lose to three teams we should have beaten, (Bilbao, Granada, and Eibar). Those losses have hurt us, as if we were able to win those three matches, we would be two points clear of Atletico Madrid. Such a shame that we dropped points so early in the season.
Important 3 points and we played very well in overall. On to Barca 2x!
Jordan bossing the midfield made my day. The guy was superb.
Vidal managed to distribute some incredible passes, especially the one to Papu was amazing.
Rekik did well, but he lacked the final pass into the box.
Such a shame this team didn’t get a better score against Dortmund in the first leg. Like the commentator of Osasuna game repeatedly said, we are not used to play against pacey teams.
I think we should arrange friendlies in a way that we face big teams more often. Get involved in mini tournaments like Audi Cup. Even Turkish teams participate in such tournaments from time to time.
