So thaf means if Tecatito arrives, he’s most likely due to get the 2 kit? I know it’s pointless to argue about what number people should be having, as it really doesn’t matter, but a winger with the number 2 kit would be strange

Gentlemen,
I’m thinking of dropping some coin on SFC to win La Liga this season. I did the same last year (I didn’t think we were going to win but . . . 50/1. Who can pass that up?).
Anyway, they are 18/1 - 13/1 depending on bookie. If we beat Getafe I suspect the price will be squeezed down to 12/1’ish. Conversely if we lose I think it will scoot to 25/1.
May I ask: how do we like our chances this year? I think I can be classed in the “wildly optimistic” group

Well it’s 75 years since we won the liga, even I don’t remember that !
But I think you’re being realistic of an outside chance. I’d say anything above 20-1 is worth a small bet.

Some of the biggest planets have lined up with their problems but there’s still a very solid Atletico. I believe Lope thinks he can do it with his ‘steady at the helm’ approach (though he’s not publicy saying that). We shouldn’t underestimate the depth of Madrid and Barca though.

I think you’re right mate - it’s all down to the odds.
I think if we lost a couple of back-to-back games the odds will pop on the “Same old Sevilla - good for fourth place” routine.
If that happens I’ll be loaded for bear:-)

I once as a joke put 10 euros on Sevilla to win the EUL as the tournament was about to begin, because my friends said ‘Sevilla always win the Europa League, don’t you have faith in them?’. I fergot about the bet as I stopped gambling, than when we won it that year one of my friend asked me how much I won, only then I remembered about the bet I had made almost a year earlier and the balance sheet went from 10 euros to a little over 500 euros.
But stories aside, I think these odds are too low reward to risk ratio. Last year I remember looking what the odds were for Sevilla to win, when we were 4 points behind 1st placed Atletico and 1 behind Barca and RM: It was 20.0 (i think that’s 19/1 in american). 6 games to go, 4 points trail, for 20.0. Now you have 37 games, no points trail for about 12.0, just doesn’t make much sense to me.

Barcelona looked really fragile at the back, with and without Pique who went off injured. They couldn’t match Athletic who tortured them for 90 minutes. That comes after two great games by Barca. Memphis dug them out of trouble and could be their star player this season.,

A six goal thriller between Levante and Real Madrid.
Campaña with a fantastic volley, and the game ended 3-3, (including a Aitor red card with an outfield player going in goal)
Game of the season so far, and it will be hard to find a better game all season.
A win tomorrow, and we go top early on

Real Madrid really lucky to get 1 point this night. Vinicius saving the evening, with his incredibly smooth 2nd goal. Levante came ahead twice, and had a free opportunity to get the 4-2 but still. Everybody challenging the big teams. Love to see it. If Liga wasn´t already as open as last year. It has gotten wide open this year. Its still early but the signs are good.
Our job. Don´t let the early pressure or expectations get to us and keep our cool and focus on tomorrows game.

An amazing game of football. It had everything that game and was end to end. Credit to Levante for raising their level in the second half and both teams scored some fabulous goals. Vinicius saved Real Madrid tonight but his 2nd goal was impeccable. A great advert for la liga.
Yeah it’s a chance for us to go top of la liga if we can win tomorrow. I hope we take the chance. Vamos!

Credits to Levante, as they keep tackling big teams consistently. I always say that sitting back would do no good against either Barca or RM. They got such talent that they will eventually hit you, no surprises for that. But if you play with a little bit courage you can pull up a surprise instead.
This season it’s of utmost importance that we start hurting the top three if we want to win La Liga.
