The good news is they slipped up in a game they should have won really. They also lost benzema and vini is suspended next game.
The gap is still 4. It could be worse but it’s in their hands. For me our best chance is to go out of Europa league early. Real Madrid will get stretched playing in 3 competitions.
If we be sneaky and tank the Europa it will give us a better chance to keep everyone fit and stay near them.

True but then in all honesty I don’t think any of us were expecting them to drop points, so all in all it’s fantastic for us. The draw against Celta has now not cost us too much.

Well it’s a shame considering they were 2 nil down. However, if you look at the stats real dominated overall and the ref/var was doing everything they could to help them as well. I think a point is still good. We have got away with it considering our 2 disappointing draws.
We are still in it though I still think Real Madrid will win it in the end. However, if we smart and focus on la liga we may profit from them being overloaded with games and injuries. Benzema has pulled his hamstring and vini junior is suspended next game. That will hurt them. Factor that in with 2 points dropped for them it’s still good for us.

I agree we simply have to beat them at home. If we do we just need 1 other draw from them. I mean it’s not in our hands but it’s very close. Had they lost today it would have been in our hands but it’s the next best scenario.
I’m still more focused on us and making sure we pick back up after the break. We have to get back on track to keep 2nd place secure and hopefully try stay close as we can to real. Hopefully we have lopetegui and most the squad back for osasuna away.
I’m still not deluded or expecting the title being honest but the stars could align with a bit of luck falling our way. It depends on us being more lucky with injuries and them getting more due to more games

I agree with Brian we don’t fight to get to Europe to just throw it away. This cup is something special for us, and we have to show that especially in RSP.
