Koeman isn’t the main problem. This Barca team is just average. No manager can do anything with them. They in massive transition and will take a few years at the very least to recover from this on the field and also economically. Bartomeu has ruined them.

They started the season last year the same way, then improved, and even came close enough towards the end. Don’t think it’s over for them by a long shot. I know Messi is gone and the defence looks shaky, but there’s still quality on that team.
Some pundits are saying Koeman was already a goner earlier this week. Maybe they’re just waiting for the Int’l break? Also if you’re Diego Martinez, do you take this job?

That was the Messi effect though. That’s the massive difference. They won’t have those extra 25 goals anymore or all the assists he provides. I don’t see them being anywhere near the title. The best they can finish is 3rd with lots of luck, most likely 4th but even outside 4th wouldn’t shock me.

However, this is classic sevilla with the chance to do it we normally botch it up. Hopefully not this time. Still it’s exciting and we love the rollercoaster being a sevilla fan.
