La Liga Season 25-26 Thread

Girona on a great run now and above us!

You guys seen how tight it getting at bottom? If Valencia when tonight we in shits creek and must get a result tomorrow.

We probably need about 41 points to be sure of safety again so this is going to be scary!

Mallorca and osasuna both win to climb above us! We 16th and if we going to stay up we going to have to do it ourselves.

Other teams around us are starting to win. It could be Valencia v Sevilla fighting to stay up! Wow!

Valencia currently wining at Getafe.

If that result remains the same we will be one point above the relegation zone with Alaves still to play.

Valencia win!

Bloody hell! Valencia win. They level now. We only a point above drop as all our rivals win. If alaves get something next the pressure will be immense.

I’m afraid what I feared is coming to pass. No team is too big to go down. We only have ourselves to blame for his mess!

I don’t believe anyone now who still positive and not fearing relegation. Maybe we still just do enough but it not looking great. Tomorrow’s game is huge.

How does everyone see our relegation battle? Let’s forget about Europe or any delusional take guys.

The table is very tight. Only 5pts seperate 18th from 8th, so still plenty of twists and turns to come.

Sevilla v Valencia in March could very well decide it

Do you see us staying up or going down?

Alaves lose. At least 1 result went our way! Still we have to get a result tomorrow night now!

I will say this. If we do go down I can’t see us coming straight back up like the last time. we could end up spending a few seasons in la segunda.

It’s not a bad league these days with some big clubs such as Depor, Zaragoza & Sporting stuck in the wilderness, along with Granada, Racing & Leganes etc. who have recently been in the top tier.

Alaves are winning 2-0 against :poop:!

That would put Getafe in the relegation zone. Just 3 points would separate Elche in 10th and Getafe in 18th.

Alaves win again, shooting up to 10th above us. Mallorca, who we play on Monday, the latest to drop into the relegation zone, which makes it all the more important we get a result there on Monday. Not a place we’ve done well at in recent times so won’t be easy.

Four points separate Osasuna in 9th and Mallorca in 18th.

What a relegation battle it is shaping up to be this season! Involving half the league!

In the mid of all the bad results, my Sevilla shirt arrived today and its more nice than I thought.

Cant wait to wear it and hopefully bring good luck to our boys from afar. :joy::denmark:

And ofc my boy Carmona was the choice. :oncoming_fist:t2:

Maybe I’m a masochist for asking, but I’ve been dying for a @sterusebn season chart :chart_increasing: :chart_decreasing:!

Bet we’re back to where we’ve been in almost every season since Lopetegui left, but would love to see the numbers!

We aren’t getting let off the hook this season. There aren’t 3 guaranteed teams to go down. Rayo fighting and 2-0 up against atleti. We going to have to really earn survival.

Alaves, Valencia, Mallorca, Girona, elche fighting and not as bad as previous bottom club sides.

Is our team capable of getting 41/42 points as I think it needed? Are we on less or about similar points to this stage last season?

Those home draws to alaves and Girona could keep us up as we could easily lost both but will be touch and go.

I agree mate.

Oviedo and Levante look like being the bottom two but that third relegation place is wide open between a number of teams.

i am not confident we are better than any of them and they are stronger than in previous seasons.

I think this could go down to the wire and we are probably looking at needing at least 40 points which won’t be an easy task.

Just as easily, those home game draws could prove to be why we go down…

We have the capability of getting away as we are good at fighting.

The players fighting for badge is a good sign but lack of quality is a worry. Our manager did okay so far but he showing signs of stress and losing his head.

It will go the wire I agree.

We played a lot of bottom 10 as well so we got the better teams to still play. I’m extremely worried.

Levante and Oviedo away games will be massive for us when they come.
