Barca released a statement earlier regarding the level of the refs, so it’s not just us. I’m not sure what exactly got Almeyda seeing red this time, but hopefully the league listens when a club like Barca makes some noise. Albeit Barca and Real are gigantic hypocrites in this regard, but still…

those juanlu yellows make no sense. if those were yellows this game should’ve had at least 10. again, its like he was looking for yellows early, and then went back to calling a more typical/relaxed game.

i was curious about this. chatgpt says no history at least and, if anything, hes a “let them play” ref. which is why the juanlu yellows dont make sense.
