Also also, at least the fans have rallies behind the team and the players seen motivated enough. I just feel like it’s not exactly been motivation that has resulted in our hideous play more than the Football abilities being put on display. Fearing we might run into a wall and the fans will turn on the players quickly.

2 minutes in and there is already an issue with the Ref. Ref books Juanlu for a yellow in the 2nd minute. VAR looking at it for a red, but there was no malice there.

phew… but my god. that would’ve been a catastrophe. also, stupid tackle juanlu… but definitely no intent to harm.
I’m happy to have a striker that can turn and strike. It seems like it has been a long time since we have had one of those; however, turning and striking from the top of the box isn’t necessarily the smartest decision.

Don’t know why he wasn’t subbed off, he seemed wound up and not in control of himself. Would argue that the second yellow was a bit harsh

Hope the anger of the crowd doesn’t bleed onto the pitch & the players can keep their heads in the game. It’ll be a fight to get anything from the game.

Finally a match which starts at a time which I can tune in and I’m served a Juanlu double yellow and Azp taking out Gudelj after being tripped. At least sub in Carmona for Nianzou so I can see one less eyesore.
im just still shocked… im the last to buy into conspiracies, but the first two plays from juanlu and ref reaches for a card? like was he looking for an opportunity to give them? first one, fine… i guess. but to give a second on something so soft and so early in a game with no warnings? that’s REALLY egregious
