Vlacho the hero!
Awful giveaway, huge save from Vlachodimos keeps the game level… can’t give the ball away there
Nianzou can’t resume?
We’re out of fucking subs
Awesome!
Plastic Nianzou leaves us with 1 less on the pitch.
Wow
Now even a draw seems golden all of a sudden
Very hard to hold on to the point now
Fucking hell
Subbing in Nianzou for Castrin instead of the more logical and far better sub Isaac for Akor could prove to be fatal for us and get 0 points tonight
A real bummer if yet another Nianzou-injury is gonna cost us a point here. We sure look like to have lost some intensity and from now on it is pure survival
Marcao is like made of steel when next to Nianzou
like clockwork…
This one is on Almeyda.
Embarassing and insulting starting lineup and wrong sub.
Nianzou simply is not ready for top flight professional football. The guy is better of in Tercera, less physically demanding.
Thank you Almeyda and Nianzou. Pieces of shit
Villarreal were extremely weak and any slightly serious team could’ve beaten them badly tonight.
But our genius coach decides to joke around, and this is what you get.
So close. Pleasently surprised with the level of the team despite the heavy rotations. Almeyda gambled, but it looks like it didnt pay off.
Also what about the fucking Portuguese CB?
Why have we signed him if the genius coach plays Castrin over him?
Cool action by Mendy there
Gambling like all on red or all on black in a professional setting is a sign of low IQ and a sign that one simply doesn’t care. Sevilla is not Almeyda’s private club, he’s not the sole owner. He has professional responsibility as a coach.
Calculated risk is another thing and welcomed any time.
This game was lost from the kick off, but Villarreal’s weakness and lack of luck made it a tight one. They could’ve scored 3-4 in the first half and be done with it.
2 fatal and unforgivable mistakes from Almeyda. Not good. In fact, very, very bad
Played well, deserved more!
Yeah, was exciting to see the fans really returning the stadium to its best form. The RSP can really become the 12th man we really have been lacking and used to count on regularly. I agree with the take that this was a gamble Almeyda made that didn’t pay off (with two unlucky injuries working against him, though I’d agree that Nianzou may not have been the right sub for the moment).
Was an exciting match to watch, though I was only partly watching while working…
In the end, September has shown that it’s not going to be an easy season (and that staying healthy is a huge part of the equation), but the coach and the squad are looking like something we haven’t seen for a few years. Just my two cents.
