That game was exciting. A crazy good game and my heart was beating to the dozen.
We should have won it but scarily we could have lost it late.
It another point closer to survival and the performance today makes me think we will get the extra points we need to survive.
We might not need any more but if we do I think we get them.
A missed chance to get safe for sure but performance was good and unlucky not to win.

We deserve to be this low in the table. We’re just fortunate that teams have been worse than us this season.
We got gifted a lead and decided to replicate the same level of defending from the opponents. Just God awful. And that’s also a lack of leadership at the back.
Dodi was woeful with the chances he got. Perhaps he should have played on the right, and let Suso go central cause he wasn’t as present as the game went on. Isaac scored a tap-in, and literally did nothing else.
I will say Agoume has been pretty steady. He needs a bit more awareness at times, but he is making good interventions and also delivering good balls forward. He needs a better partner in the middle.
Celta Vigo next? We play better away from home, but possibly no Lukebakio. So it’s a wrap??

I said before the run in I’d take a draw with alaves, leganes and Las Palmas.
Of course we want more to get safe faster but it enough to limp to safety. I think we need 1 more point or 2 more points to get safe.
A draw away at Celta and home to Las Palmas is enough.
That said we all want that win but a draw keeps us moving albeit slowly in quicksand but we close to safety. The performance was better today which is encouraging too.

A disappointing result at home I’m afraid to a side near the bottom as was the Alaves game. We have to be winning games like this. We really needed to win this one and should have as we had much the better of the game.
We’re still not out of the woods yet. Other than the Las Palmas game I’m not that confident we can get a result. No wins in 7 games now I think. At least it’s a point closer to safety I guess.
