This barca having to play so many games in just a few days is wild, but kudos to them being able to take care of a bad Osasuna team in route to a 3-0 win and thus a 3 point lead over RM.

Hate not having any Friday matches this week, as I LOVE Friday matches and use it to tell myself that it’s the weekend.

It is a good distraction while working on Fridays! Thanks for the thread. We don’t talk about the rest of the league here enough.

Yeah - it’s a great distraction for sure, and now we need to ‘scoreboard’ watch to see if we can snag a European spot.

There is a Segunda game today. Not a great one, but at least it is club football.

Do you know of a way to watch any? I always had a soft spot for Deportivo, but could never find a stream of their matches once they left La Liga.

Sociedad had a good win earlier, 2-1 to keep their European hopes alive.

Atleti are up 1-0 against Espanyol, so if they blow this lead I’m not sure their fans will be able to survive the run of terrible outcomes they’ve had recently.

Geez - an Atleti give up an absolute stupid penalty.

Converted by Puado, game is tied 1-1

Welcome to Sunday boys and girls.

Villarreal vs Getafe about to kick off.

Massive win there for Valencia. Mallorca takes a hit to their European dreams, and Valencia are now a somewhat clear of relegation.

Sorry missed all the matches except ours this weekend.

multiply this by 29 for me, and yea that’s every matchweek. :joy:

But I have caught a few games here and there. It’s still a league where i get to enjoy the likes of Vini, Mbappe, Yamal & Julián, but La Liga constantly tries to kill that joy.

We do have a title race, so maybe i’ll catch more of this season’s tail end. :crossed_fingers:

@Eco86 i still appreciate you making the thread and glad to have you along. Any particular player(s)/team(s) that you’ve enjoyed watching this season?

I usually watch between 4-5 games a weekend, and usually all the mid week games as it’s easy to do while I work.

@Edinho - I usually wish well for Valencia, but they are hard to watch but had a massive win this weekend. Sociedad and Bilbao have been great to watch this year both internationally and domestically.

Players wise, Nico Williams is one of my favorite players to watch that isn’t on Sevilla. Barca’s young kids are also so much fun to watch, I just can’t stand the team itself. I also love watching Zubimendi, but afraid he’ll be going to London next year as he’s rumored to be going to Arsenal.

At Valencia we’ve been stripped bare in recent years by the worst La Liga owner outside of Malaga but we somehow manage to keep soldiering on. This dynamic will only change when we go down or he sells the club. Corberán has done a great job since replacing Baraja but there is only so much anyone can do with such a thin squad.

No doubt about it. I’d throw in Girona as well as since it’s like their identity will be thrown away as well as their traditions and honestly, respect.

But what Peter has done to Valencia is an absolute disgrace.

Valencia’s disallowed own goal against Real must be the silliest action I’ve ever seen in men’s football… Got saved by thr VAR gods from being included in all the blooper reels of this season.

Diakhaby is very hit and miss. Great defensive actions but always has an awful mistake in him. Happy to win at the Bernabeu for the first time since 2008. Corberán has really changed the dynamic and now, crazy as it sounds, if Sevilla don’t win tomorrow then Valencia can overtake them next week. No pressure, then.

I’m still very worried as a Sevilla fan. I think we probably are safe but the bottom teams are improving. You may need 40 points or more to survive this season.

As you say Valencia and other teams are catching us up. The next 3 games are big for us to ensure we get safe and don’t get dragged into a fight at last part of season.

Hopefully we get a result tomorrow and leganes/Las Palmas lose otherwise it could get edgy.

The likes of leganes/Las Palmas/alaves all got Valladolid still to play too. That is like a guaranteed 3 points.

Congratulations!

Leganes drop points. Good news!
