By the way, speaking of CĆ³rdoba, am I the only one who didnāt know that Gudeljās brother signed for CĆ³rdoba this year? Just went back to read about Nemanjaās career and was surprised to find out about his brother. Also, what a crazy career that Gudelj has had! Bottom to top, back down to bottom and then back up to the top! I mean, China isnāt the bottom per se, but not the kind of football kids dream of after having signed for Ajax as a young kidā¦

I noticed Giuliano Simeone playing for Zaragoza midweek, heās the youngest of the 3 brothers, still only 19, out on loan from Atletico. Didnāt impress me as much as last time I saw him play but heās got something of his Dadās style.
Looks like he has lost weight, He had Glandular fever didnāt he? Probably not been eating very much.

Masive blow for Villarreal, and although the news is quite certain the facts donāt actually convince me 100%. Even if he does go Iām not sure heās paid the entire cession clause, thereās probably a pay later ādealā in the agreement.

Emeryās move to the Premier League is just one more proof that the money in the English league is far above everyone else at the moment. With Villareal, he could regularly play in European competitions and fight for some cups, but with Aston Villa he will fight in the middle of the table in the English league. His yearly salary will be 7m, so probably once more than at Villareal.

Pretty strange he rejected Newcastle last year just to accept Aston Villa this year. According to Villarreal fans things were starting to get stale so that could be another reason along with the money.
