Great to see Madrid and Barca lose today. But watching the Getafe v Barca game Getafe got away with murder today.
Nyom is a dirty cheating c*** of the highest order that I wouldn’t want any where near any club of mine.
I thought he was very poor and couldn’t understand how he was ever present in Getafe, but he improved last season and is able to put in decent crosses with either foot, something not common.
I’ve not seen a lot of dirty play though, but I’ll keep an extra watch on him now !
A question about the rules. How can a referee allow play to continue while there’s a VAR in progress. What happens if the other team scores in the meantime, counter attacks can be so rapid?
Someone has to say ‘no goal, penalty for the other side’
You watch him Tim, I’ve noticed before he’s a master of leading with his elbow. I can’t remember whether I watched the after match inquest on Gol tv or the La liga chan but they actually highlighted the fouls he got away with.
What Sivas did was quite surprising, up until they made it 3-3… After that Villarreal’s quality players took to the stage. Alcacer killed the game off… Nevertheless, being a mediocre Turkish team, that was quite unexpected.
I believe they have the capacity to beat Qarabag and Maccabi and qualify coming after Villarreal.
It’s gonna be more entertaining when Sivasspor hosts Villareal next December. Turkish city Sivas is known for its freezing temperatures in that time of the year. I wonder how they are gonna cope with such a dramatic change in weather
Valencia have been poor. Their early results suprised me abit, but 63mins in they have a desperate look about them. They will probably come back now haha, but can’t see garcia staying much longer. To me I get a malaga feeling about them. Poorly run, huge debt and on a downward spiral.
Are we watching the same match? They’re pretty even until Lenglet gave the victory to Real Madrid. Both team are crap in front of bayern and their old self.
Think it was an evenly matched game which would’ve been different if Coutinho scored that header and the VAR on the penalty went the other way. Neither team were decidedly superior than the other, would be a great chance for Sevilla to show they mean business this year but that was before Eibar.
Throwing on Dembele and Greizmann at the death reeked of desperation from Koeman, the former kept losing the ball and the latter didn’t even see it. almost 300m thrown down the drain for those two.
Cadiz is a team well drilled. They make very good use of the ball than any other team in the la liga. They defend in numbers and counter at lightning speed. I will say we were fortunate to win that match, the best we deserved was a draw. Bryan Gil was absolutely superb in eibars match, receiving the ball in tight spaces and linking up with his team mates. Cadiz backline couldn’t take the ball of him.
I watched it, he was on fire. In open play he put in a cross from an impossible angle and it seemed he must have a rubber leg or a double-jointed knee. His corners were spot on too.
Both Cadiz goals were questionable for prior fouls but Mateu Lahoz was the Ref.
