I personally feel underwhelmed by En-Nesyri. But potentially it could be a good piece of business. He’s definitely got good work rate and the ability to finish. Was rumors of Arsenal being intrested was in him last summer so must be alright. We would create him more opportunitys than he would get now. But I had a feeling with all the names being bounced around, we would end up with something different.
So yeah I have mixed amotions about the deal, but there is no guarantee with any player. If he can deliver on the pitch then I’m happy.

It’s hard to go on previous records as he would get less chances in that team. Secondly De Jong had a great record from PSV, still not meant goals for us yet

Without a doubt. He has great potential. I like that he is young; let’s hope he can find the net when given the opportunity.
En-Nesyri for 20m, I think only Tim and Edinho saw that coming 
, hasn’t scored a whole lot of goals but then again Leganes aren’t known for scoring a ton either, may thrive with Banega instead of Mesa behind him.

, don’t mean to nitpick but it’s listed he’s 6’2 feet or 1.89m tall but only weighs 160 something pounds, to put things into perspective his teammate Guido Carrillo and our misfiring luuk have a similar height but are 30 pounds heavier, does this mean Lope has forgone the physical presence and opted for speed? Just some thoughts.
I too think another striker would be beneficial but this purchase (20m?) has mostly used up the funds from selling Chicharito and Dabbur. A loan deal may be what they could afford before the club can be sure of which european competition they will enter, if any. Still think they need cover for right back, Pozo has done a decent job but is a winger by trade and at his age should be getting consistent minutes, given he’s been one of the most anticipated talents from the academy in recent years.

I still think Spurs will come up with the cash in the end and we would lose. We are also said to be in for Ze Luis, a striker who just got Porto in the summer who has scored 7 in 12. He’s going to be 29 in a few days so not sure if he’s that hot. Spurs are also in for him as well

Well it’s official. En-Nesyri has signed on a 5 and half year deal.
Same feelings as Realistic and Brett. Name wise, play wise, although I haven´t seen too much, if i remember correctly he scored against us. Although I wasn´t impressed with his further performance. Feel Like his technique is not that great and composure wasn´t so Good on the ball but good workrates, and quite speedy which is Good as well, and probably the potential to grow and improve. So yeh hopefully it Works out. Trust in Monchi and crew I have.
He is primarely a striker tho, So scoring few goals wouldn´t say is that much position related. But more of low table team related. Although secondary he can play wide. I wouldn´t see him do that Good there.
Don´t think he Will loose a lot of value, so I can imagine it being quite a save buy actually. Although at first one may say it seems risky. I did too.

Piatek I would vouch for more, probably a style thing. But a cold killer up front I like that, someone to score out of the blue, Bacca, Gameiro. Was crazy… Although Piatek isn´t that kind of striker but just put any of them in front of the goal, and it´s in the net, that kinda feeling. Im kinda overhyping but you know what I mean haha.

I’m pleased with the signing. He scored a few goals in a poor leganes side. He will get many chances with us and I confident he can bag a hat full of goals.

I must be honest, I do hope there is something comes of the Piatek link. Ive always had a close eye on Genoa and he always impressed me and he deserved his move to Milan. There has been alot of chances this season where if we had someone like him or even Alcacer, would of probably scored.

Read an interesting thing, where we have actually been so close to signing an amazing player, who´s quite unique and would have wanted to joing our team but it didn´t happen in the very end. This is quoted from Hakim Ziyech, where he was super close to signing with us but in the end when everything was almost sorted out. Monchi didn´t respond or confirm to make it 100%. Which made him doubt and decided to cancel, because he wanted full conviction like if you want me, you have to want me a lot. If you lose contact for a bit, its over. Transfertimes are stresfull periods for sure. But having to be connected all the time is key, also for the trust of that player needs to have in you. Monchi actually tried to get Ziyech too Roma as well, so that´s part of the reason it got to the point of almost signing. But yeh, no point in looking back or regretting too much of that.
Just saying, his talent is absurd and one of the most natural, skillfull technical and Smart talents in the World. If you have Ziyech as your attacking midfielder, your striker will be in heaven if you connect with him. But very curious what En Nesyri will turn out. Maybe see some action already tonight would be nice.

I love your optimism haha! However, if a draw was offered now, I’d take that straight away. Last time we won at Real Madrid in league was December 2008. The 4-3, remember watching it on sky when renato got the winner in last minute.

I didn’t know we where that close to signing him. I thought he simply refused cause it felt like a step down, seeing that Ajax were in the CL. Phenomenal player, and would’ve done wonders on this team.
