What the heck is Enrique smoking? Gavi in the team after two senior league games? Eric Garcia? Por Luis Alberto man.
YEN was called up for the Morocco NT after all. They’ll play 3 matches, 2 against Guinea-Bissau and 1 against Guinea - YEN is expected to feature in at least 2 of them.
So it seems that 2 months out news was definitely bs and he’ll be available for us as soon as for the match vs. Celta.
Assuming that he doesn’t get hurt again
That Spain team is so rubbish.
How dare you !!!
There are great anthems and not so good anthems but few countries sing them from the heart like Italy.
First loss for Italy incoming after a long long time.
Very lightweight team they put out tonight I must say.
Spain almost found a way to blow it and probably should have.
Morocco beat Guinea 5-0, Bono with a clean sheet while Munir played the last 25 minutes and notched a goal. En Nesyri didn’t travel apparently.
Good that he didn’t. It would’ve been an unnecessary risk as he’s still not 100%.
I think YEN will be out a few more weeks. Maybe by start of November we might have him back fit.
If he’s injured that bad, it doesn’t make sense to travel to Morocco either. Why would you fly him in? Just call up a different striker then. If they call him in, he will make minutes.
Because some of these third world national teams don’t give a shit about clubs as long as their players play for their team who are never going to win anything.
Morocco has a decent NT to be honest - they could seriously challenge for the CAF 2021 (which takes place in January 2022) and could qualify for the 2022 WC in Qatar.
Hakimi is one of the best modern RB’s in the world and they also have the top class Bono, YEN, superstar Munir , Saiss, Amrabat, Barkok, YEN, Ziyech… all decent prospects.
But are they going to win the Euros though?
Not that great then.
Kounde goes 90. Interesting that France shifted to a 3 man back line for this match.
Acuña off with an injury… hopefully not too serious
