Oh how I’ve missed this Sevilla FC! There will probably still be a lot of downs this season, but it’s nice to be reminded that the Sevilla-magic is still in there somewhere.

PSV was my fav team in my youth and until I found Sevilla (another reason I was thrilled when we brought de Jong on). I really wouldn’t have been mad if Sevilla lost. But really love our play and love the matchup! Finally holding on to good form! PSV have had a good run lately as well.
Exciting game. Slowly building some trust back.
Why was Bade subbed so early? I missed the beginning. Not another fucking injury, no way…

A very impressive performance and win tonight especially the second half where we swept PSV aside. Job should be done in this tie now.
The best attacking football we’ve played in a long time. We really seem to have regained our confidence and spark and look a decent team again. All three goals brilliant. It was like old times.
It’s like heaven and earth from the team at the start of the season. The only way is up if we keep playing like this. Sampaoli working his wonders now.

Incredible 2nd half. Ocampos scoring a goal he probably always knew he was capable of. What a finish! I was especially impressed by the Gudelj goal that followed. We finally took advantage of a situation when we’re on top and the opponent is feeling the pressure.
If we keep winning the home legs like this…

Great victory, really effective as well looking at the goals. It’s not that we created an overload but, some low percentage finish opportunities going in from Gudelj being able to keep his balance and the ball low enough and Ocampos from a spectacular angle out of a turn. PSV a couple of chances, Veerman out of 3 hitting that one on the post. Generally we played it out quite well, happy morning here.

Not even 27k home fans… one could see lots of empty seats, it should’ve been a full house tonight.
