It depends on the second half approach, but really, there is no point continuing like this. We’ve had a similar lifeless first half performance in the first leg, but if you’re totally off in the first half like tonight against a really decent team, they’ll murder you.

I just hoped (maybe out of false hope considering our away form and recent performances) for better than what we’ve shown. We seemed to have set up stall to protect the lead we had and go for the draw. No real desire to attack. All very well passing it about but to what end?
We couldn’t deal with Antonio and I’m afraid we’ve got what we deserved. Next goal in this game is huge now.

A team like West Ham (with all due respect) annihilating you like that in the first half… and Antonio… a 32 year old Jamaican NT player messing around with your entire midfield and defense like that.
I really wouldn’t have the guts to watch us against Barca or RB Lepzig at this point.

Man all the negativity. We didn’t play terrible in that half. Started slow, got our foot…almost should have scored. The one shitty defensive mistake got them back in it. Everything is to play for here. Just need one and we are through.

No creativity from midfield, Rakitic has been pretty invisible and if no improvement in the first 10 minutes of second half he should be replaced by Oliver as about the only option there.
Nope… because we were at least playing decent football in that mini tournament. But it is showing and proving 100% that it was a Pyrrhic victory. It kept a shit coach at helm for too long without a single improvement sign. That’s what you get… we have to live with it.
Winning it again this season would be the Pyrrhic victory nr 2 and 3-4 more seasons with the same crap and stagnation, never really going for the title or taking CL seriously.
