It depends on the second half approach, but really, there is no point continuing like this. We’ve had a similar lifeless first half performance in the first leg, but if you’re totally off in the first half like tonight against a really decent team, they’ll murder you.
Why do they have a fucking bubble machine blowing bubbles?

But like a Russian army tank that gets taken out of action by Ukrainian forces, he needs to be stopped asap. Btw, if you break him down there would be a huge pile of steroids there…
Yeah I’m forever blowing bubbles is their famous song.

I just hoped (maybe out of false hope considering our away form and recent performances) for better than what we’ve shown. We seemed to have set up stall to protect the lead we had and go for the draw. No real desire to attack. All very well passing it about but to what end?
We couldn’t deal with Antonio and I’m afraid we’ve got what we deserved. Next goal in this game is huge now.
Man I’m sick of this shit, really. 3 fucking years straight and no improvement whatsoever. It’s ludicrous.
Like we all said the board are happy with just 4th place and no trophies so it is what it is.
A team like West Ham (with all due respect) annihilating you like that in the first half… and Antonio… a 32 year old Jamaican NT player messing around with your entire midfield and defense like that.
I really wouldn’t have the guts to watch us against Barca or RB Lepzig at this point.
haha that’s weak. I hope we burst their damn bubbles in the second half.
Man all the negativity. We didn’t play terrible in that half. Started slow, got our foot…almost should have scored. The one shitty defensive mistake got them back in it. Everything is to play for here. Just need one and we are through.
It’s reality man… total reality. What can you expect vs. the other strong teams left? What’s the point of reaching the quarters with this kind of play? Totally unacceptable, or maybe we’ve lowered the standards too much.
We’re forever throwing bottles, pretty bottles in the sky,
They fligh so high …etc.
I remember well
You probably said the same during our mini tournament run.
No creativity from midfield, Rakitic has been pretty invisible and if no improvement in the first 10 minutes of second half he should be replaced by Oliver as about the only option there.
Nope… because we were at least playing decent football in that mini tournament. But it is showing and proving 100% that it was a Pyrrhic victory. It kept a shit coach at helm for too long without a single improvement sign. That’s what you get… we have to live with it.
Winning it again this season would be the Pyrrhic victory nr 2 and 3-4 more seasons with the same crap and stagnation, never really going for the title or taking CL seriously.
I don’t want that thanks.
@Erik_17 I also thought Rakitic was invisible in the first half
What effort by Kounde to get back in defense there! I hope someone captured that run on video
I have faith in Lope’s master plan. He probably was planning and preparing for penalties before even our home game started
YEN for MIR now?
