We gave it a go at the end and could have nicked a draw. Left it too late though to wake up and we probably didn’t deserve anything.

It showed some promised after we just put in two strikers but it fell down again soon enough and no finesse at all when needed compared to Arsenal.

It feels like we fighting for 3rd now. I have a feeling psv might get 3rd though.

Still it was a good effort in the 2nd half after being bossed in the first. Anyway we move on to cadiz.

My hope is we can get 3rd and have another crack of the Europa League. PSV at home the most winnable and hopefully can get something away at Lens. Can’t see us getting anything at Arsenal.

Just not enough quality in the end, but plenty of spirit after going 2-0 down.
Acuna’s last minute woefully overhit delivery was a sad epitome of his decline and the lack of required level of deliveries we needed.

Think Lukebakio, even though he did not have a good game (like most of the team until we got the first goal), would have still been a better option than the raw Mariano when we were really pushing in the last 25 minutes. Even Rafa Mir would have caused their defence more trouble when we started crossing into the box more and more.

Yeah I agree. That’s our best hope. Try to replicate last season and win the last home game again.

PSV have 2 home games to our 1. Have to beat them at home to get at least 3rd now.
