It is nice to have scored more than a single goal in a match. Unfortunately I don’t feel like we have really played all that well.

I like Navas there instead of right back. Maybe that’s his spot from now on. A 30 minute sub like Juaquin.
Dimitrivic has been terrible and it’s hard to chalk it up to playing time when he played almost every minute of the Copa game and the friendlies.

Win is a win even if it’s against limited opposition. Scoring five goals should give the team some confidence going into what will be a much sterner test against Getafe.
And into the last 16 so who knows what could happen! Could be a way into Europe for us next season.

Not looking spectacular, but still trouncing a side a couple divisions below? It’s about damn time.
Looked sharper at times in the 2nd half, but in many other instances, some criminal giveaways that should’ve punished us. We need better, and quicker, play from the midfield if we want YEN or our other forwards to start scoring again.

Crazy enough, if not for the own goal, it might have been 4 for YEN. Nothing to get too excited about, but between that and World Cup form, hopefully we can stop wasting time and get Rafa Mir into the display window for a winter transfer/loan.
Speaking of, someone referred to him being maybe injured…are we sure he didn’t make the list for injury or is it possible my dreams are coming true and we’re selling him for pennies on the dollar. Or pesetas on the Euro.
