I remember we used to have this particular tactic where we managed to move the ball to the end of the pitch and cross from byline very often. We scored a lot using this tacticāIt was before Lopeās term.
Nowadays we seem to struggle moving the ball that far into the opposing half. Maybe itās because we donāt utilize our full backs as effective as we should.

Watched it, a very entertaining game of football, Cornella rode their luck especially in the first half but they did look like a decent team. Their goal would have graced any game in La liga, good luck to them.

Yeah nice goal and could have scored some more. They did get a bit lucky with Atleti hitting the post and missing some pinpoint chances.

Yes, I agree. That also would help us utilize our attacking midfielders. Ćscar hasnāt quite lived up to how he was at leganes, and I think itās partially due to him being played out of position. We need a formation that uses a number 10 role, especially if Isco joins next summer.
