We played a great team and we made a few defensive errors which is unusual. We’ll play a different 11 tomorrow. SFC TV CUT … resumes … The game should serve to help us improve.

A bad loss but it’s only pre season. Arsenal looking great and could compete closer to top of premier league this season. They look very impressive
I’m not panicking and this might help spur monchi and the squad into action. It’s a terrible loss but we will learn from it and I expect and changes and improvement before osaauna. Congrats Arsenal but we move on.

This friendly will leave a mental scar in the team. 6-0 is not something that is easily chewed in professional football. Sure the players could always not give a damn about this and go on with their lives.
Whether the players will use this loss as a strong motivator for success and give it their all to achieve as much as they can in the new season, or whether this loss will wreck the confidence and will lead to many more disasters like this - will be a great team mentality indicator, tough or weak?. The coach has a lot to do in this too, so let’s see what happens. I’m already fearing the worst.
I don’t remember this happening in a Sevilla pre-season, ever.

Another similar display tomorrow v Leicester and I will be very worried for the start of the season.
A heavy defeat tomorrow followed by a loss against Osasuna and the knives will be out for Lope.

I love how we still had 52% ball possession in a game we got massacred 6-0 - very Lope-ish.

I didn’t make it up to watch the game this morning. Probably for the best. From the highlights it looks like we put in very little effort. I’m assuming that is because of the match tomorrow. Why did we even schedule these back to back? Weird

Never good to lose a match 6-0 but it is pre-season and we shouldn’t read too much into this result in my opinion.
Signings are needed now though as we are weaker than last season as things stand and just two weeks until Osasuna away…
