feels good when those kinds of decisions go our way. should not have come to this though
noo way
I think this is us getting the punishment of justice again. It wasn’t a penalty. And we gave away what was given again…
8 minutes added.
Me all season long. We can’t catch a break
Spiralling deeper into the depths of despair.
Ohh Sevilla
Time to drop Ramos. He provides nothing.
lol. I’m stuck in the past lmao
Well a disappointing result. We didn’t play badly tonight. We had chances to score more but didn’t take them.
We switched off too much at the back from set pieces. It’s been our problem all season. I felt Sergio Ramos had a poor game again.
We just struggled to up the tempo enough when we had the ball.
It’s really tough times but we just need to keep trying new things and get some more signings and youth into team.
Also I learnt it’s Isaac not Ivan! Haha I’m still in the past.
The football club might be struggling but I wouldn’t swap them for anyone.
This club is special and the passion in the stadium is still incredible. I believe we will bounce back despite how painful things are right now.
It is alway a rollercoaster of ups and downs but we will rise again.
We need to try survive this season and we can reset better in the summer. We will get more players off the books and try rebuild the squad again.
I thought his positioning was good. Appeared to be a bit nervous. I couldn’t tell if he was off balance or slow at times, but overall good first appearance. Crowd gave him a standing ovation when he came of which I thought was nice
I think he can compete. He wasn’t particularly involved. Non of our strikers ever are. But he did get good on the ball sometimes. Turned away from a defender and passed him, got him booked a yellow for pulling the shirt. He worked hard and not much more to ask from the guy. I wouldn’t mind having him as a 3rd striker. He does add more in the footballing aspect then Mir and Youssef, so that’s positive or atleast he keeps the ball closer to his feet.
At least we fought back to 2-2, cause i never know where these goals will come from. It’s funny how the strikers we’re least fond of helped us get back level. But there’s no spark up front. Nothing that resembles the few good games we got from Lukebakio early this season. Poor Isaac gets thrown in at CF and we’re still sending wayward crosses as if he could jump like YEN. The young man fought hard, and i’m glad the stadium gave him an ovation as he came off.
As for the defence, it will always be this terrible with Ramos & Salas in there. It’s why i advocate for 3 CBs. Unless we’re pairing up Bade & Marcao, clean sheets will continue to be a rarity. Despite all that, our setpiece defending has been abysmal.
Always nice to see us get players back. Didn’t realize Marcão actually completed his first 90+ minutes of the season. Getting Navas back also gave Juanlu some much needed rest.
Sad, but true. Ramos has often been the main culprit for our defensive shitshow this season…
I did catch the game but been busy this weekend.
We didn’t play too badly from an attacking point of view and created more than we have done. It took two out of favour players to get us back in the game, albeit with a very harsh penalty.
I think we probably deserved something from the game but Sunday League defending, especially from Ramos cost us again. He needs dropping for Bade to play alongside Marcao. I don’t care who he is and his name. The team comes first. He may have been a great player but he’s past it and a shadow of what he once was.
If we can’t beat the likes of Alaves at home we’re in massive trouble and there’s no hiding it, relegation is a genuine threat now and unlike last season we’re still not showing enough signs of improvement that we can turn this around.
Relegation to Segunda would be disastrous and I certainly hope we’re not readying ourselves for that with the influx of young players. Things don’t get any easier for us next Saturday away at Girona where it’s tough to see us getting a result there.
