I’d like to see some more of y’all’s predictions in here before the season gets too deep and we have too much insight into how teams are gelling. Just a handful of regulars tagged for pride and glory, apologies to the dozens who didn’t come to mind.
@ChrisLail @ShendM @Rene1 @tay_van_holland @Packman @Manuel @jdecourcey @JakobJarc @JeMannji @Mark_L

Get your predictions in to secure your spot in Monchis Men lore! I promise to ask AI to tabulate a winner at the end of the season. So the glory may be part hallucination, but glory nonetheless!

Vamoooos!

I’ve been compiling some thoughts on it, but I start a new job tomorrow, so I haven’t had a lot of time to put pen to paper. Give me a couple of days. :joy:

Well I did give a deadline on september 4th specifically because of incoming or outgoing transfers. No extra points for being an early bird.

I am not optimistic for this season at all. I am unfortunately predicting we will relegate. We have done very little to strengthen our weaknesses and are selling off our best assets. It will be even worse if the rumors of selling Lukebakio are true. It is going to be a rough year.

I’m waiting for end of transfer window. However, if we lose Lukebakio and get no want decent in then I’m predicting relegation too. Girona might go down as well.

Thanks for the tag @RyanMoore

I think I’ll have to wait until after the NT break for a better overall prediction.

It’s not looking good though.

That’s some serious pessimism, but not an unwarranted pessimism. I’m feeling the start of season good vibes at the moment, but if we start 0W3L, I’ll revise my predictions to match yours, let’s be honest.

No extra points, maybe. Just extra pride and glory.

In case of a tie, we can say the victory goes to whoever made their predictions first. So you are already ahead.

Yeah I hate that we’ve come to this but the past few seasons we have drifted downward in the standings and have done little this offseason to change. I am afraid relegation is what we need to get a change in the leadership. By leadership I am looking at the infighting between father and son. We have tried different coaches…lol. That doesn’t seem to be the root issue.

It not just father and Son. It Castro and all the families too. All the shareholders involved are to blame and have to much power.

Del nido senior is responsible for putting his Son and Castro there but isn’t in charge. It ultimately his Son, Castro and the families who have ran the club for years and ran it into the ground.

I asked @NayNayAK his predictions. Short and sweet for him. Barca to win. Sevilla 7th.

I also am fearing relegation if something doesn’t change and fast for the better in the coming days.

I don’t even think we will be saved by the newly promoted sides or Girona at this rate.

Big game on Saturday though already!

i have us finishing 17th unfortunately, i think we can narrowly escape relegation, or at least hope so, but i’m certainly not filled with confidence regarding ending up any higher on the table

If these new signings do okay and the new registrations we might be okay again. I’m hopeful of getting to about 15th and doing enough to survive. It will be scary at times but hopefully we have enough.

If we stay up okay then fair play to Cordon and new manager. They will do their best.

I’m still unsure and may still go lower. I’m thinking 16th at moment but it tough to say and just hope we escape bottom 3 again.

If we stay up again it still a big achievement considering the financial crisis and circus at club.

It would show even in the doldrums and worst times it still very difficult to get rid of us. Our rival :poop: on other hand had multiple relegations in last 25 years or so.
