2021-2022 Europa League - AKA Sevilla's Tournament

Did the club ever give their side of the story? I keep wondering why it is that Scots and Germs consume so much more water than Spaniards. Water seems like a pretty standard part of running a stadium, both bottled and toilet water…

I’m guessing it’s due in no small part to the traveling fans not expecting/knowing what to do in the Sevilla heat.

Bad things happen when you drink all day and then sit in a hot stadium for two hours.

I’ve experienced this at a US stadium. We went to see Spain v El Salvador at FedEx and they ran out of water before the first half. It was over 100 degrees in the DC humidity that day. It sucks and is scary when you see people dropping out around you.

I haven’t heard any official statement from the club or UEFA on this.

Exactly, day drinking in Glasgow is a whole different strategy than May in Sevilla.

PS - @ChrisLail aren’t you glad we didn’t buy those tickets to ā€œsee Sevilla play at home in the UEL finalā€?Ditto Copa del Rey final.
