Winter 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumors

Remember that 70% 30% rule we chatted about with Monchi too. What was it, 70% of the transfers are expected to generate future transfer revenue while 30% are the Navas’, the Fernandos, etc. I 100% believe the Idrissis and Oscars fall into that 70% category.

Juan Mata is that maybe a reachable player? Don´t think he´s seen much in Manchester, and still 32. Could be a creative impulse but yeh.

Would love for us to pick this guy on a free this summer. That versatile & experienced fullback we’re looking for. Comfortable on both sides, with good delivery.

According to French Football, Rennes youngster Georgino Rutter has decided to leave on a free transfer next year. This is a great signing and Monchi should move in to make it happen. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2021/rennes-hotshot-georginio-rutter-has-decided-to-exit-on-a-free-transfer/

But he doesn’t play at Rennes, why would he play here?

I’ve thought the same. I wonder if he would come back? He would be a better Suso haha.

He is super young, 18 year old, he did well against us. Why wouldn´t we want him on a free transfer. Quick, good confident composure and control on the ball. Good transfer for the future, low risk. The board has to be impressed or these rumours out of thin air. I did like him too, you just look at the guy and see he has something.

I mean if he is good with going on loan for a few years sure.

Only rumors and mostly talking about summer transfer so far. We urgently need some reinforcement and to let some players like CFernandez, Mudo and Gnagnon go, it’s better for them to play elsewhere.

2 weeks left… Monchi?

Do we though?

Milik is avalible for around 10m - 15m, it would be big upgrade on De Jong for our attack. He is negotiating with Marseille now.

I think so. A creative midfielder which we desperately lack and a versatile full back because of Navas’ instability or we’ll have to count more and more on Vidal, who is good, but not good enough.

I mean if we want to do something meaningful this season.

This would be a great signing, he’d probably be a very prolific and consistent striker. His contract also ends in the summer so we could get him relatively cheap in this transfer window.

Also for a back up right back for Navas, Elsaid Hysaj, 26 year old Albanian right back for Napoli, has his contract up in the summer as well, so we could perhaps bag both of them from Napoli.

Hysaj is a compatriot of mine as we have the same nationality with Albania but I don’t think he would contribute anything to the team. He’s poor going forward and although good defensively, he’s not better than Acuna. So we’d need someone at least on the level of Acuna (or better) for the right full back position, so that we don’t degrade on those parts. We wouldn’t want an airplane with unbalanced wings as it would crash.

Not sure what happened to the Tecacito Corona rumor but he would suit us much much better for the RB spot.

Reinforcements needed but not sure if any can be found at a decent price this window, most the club can do is hunt for players ending their contracts.

I agree with Brian so much, de Jong has to leave make room for upgrades. Try to sell him to a Glasgow where they like longballs or a Russian or any B league team for example just clean house, don’t let it linger for 2 more years. It will slow our progression. Invest in an goalscoring striker for 4 years to come and find the creative playmaker we need and we are set to a great level. Yes the wingback depth still but yes this team needs improvement for sure.
