Has anyone been to Ireland, the Republic part?
I’ve visited occasionally but I was just there last week in search of my ancestors, the Mahony family that originate from the Cork area. Some success but no direct link to my Grandpa who came over in 1909.
It’s a country of tremendous contrasts.
I haven’t but our friend Alan Feehely is from Cork
