I would snap anyone’s hand off right now if they offered us one of Lope’s 1-0 masterclasses at Salzburg.
Yes please!

Yeah my math was wrong lol
So it’s simple. Win, or get knocked out
Yes although we could still end up in the Europa League but I don’t think many of us want that.
Same here. It’s amazing how the group has completely changed. Salzburg were so far clear in 1st at one point and now there’s incredibly a chance they could finish bottom of it. It makes it a very exciting last round with all sides in with a chance of qualifying and first place.
Indeed. It’s been a very competitive group between four evenly matched teams. Not much in it all as the table shows going into the last game. The tightest group of this year’s Champions League. Hopefully we can be one of the teams to get into the knock-out rounds.
Anyways, who do we have for Motm? I say Ocampos
Jordan won it. I’d vote for Ocampos though.
Nice job getting the 3 points gents and loved the goal at the end. All in our hands, can’t ask for more than that. Off to a steakhouse now to get nice fat ribeye and some drinks. On to Real Madrid. Will be a very tough game, hopefully we are up for it.
Nicely done tonight against a tricky opponent like Wolfsburg. However, it can be too little too late I’m afraid. We will now have to win the next match vs. RB Salzburg away and it won’t be an easy feat, to say the least. There’s still hope though!
Hope you had a great birthday day bro. Enjoy the rest of your day and it’s great Sevilla got a win on your bday too!
Yeah it’s still going to be very difficult but it’s good for our confidence going forward. It’s nice to get that first champions league win and it will boost us for the busy schedule and tough run of fixtures to come.
Let’s face it, this was a group without any big clubs and where Sevilla was probably the team with the most experience in Europe club competitions, so we should really be in a much better position going into the final matchday than we actually are.
Losing at home to Lille could well have been the decisive blow, although there is still a chance that Salzburg underperform or suffer crucial withdrawals in their first team and Lope suddenly gets lucky in CL. The 2-0 rather than just the struggling 1-0 was still an important result, for morale if not so much for the standings.
We will need more energy and intensity for the fight in Mozart’s town, and hopefully Lamela will be in the team.
Happy birthday @RyanD! What a great day! We control our own destiny and that is better than hoping and praying for other games to go our way.
Another great night in the RSP albeit a very cold one. Jordans goal celebration was something special.
Anybody seen any news on D Carlos? He seemed to be in quite a bit of discomfort at the end, hope it was just cramp.
No update yet. It didn’t look from the replays that he pulled anything, so I’m hoping just cramping.
Gonna be honest, I’m not worried at all. It was a crucial game, in stoppage time and we needed to keep the lead. I think he was just trying to waste time. Might have had a little soreness but he definitely sold it
