Sevilla the City in Verano

Hi All, I have just visited Sevilla, and had a wonderful time in the City, the heat is immense and at its peak around 7.30pm in the evening it was over 40 degrees. The buildings and architecture in the City is something else, it really is difficult place to describe, but the whole experience of being in Sevilla is truly mesmerising..

I did it in July decades ago when I was in my late 20s. It was +44. My memory of that trip (pre-digital camera and social media) was that I walked around for a while until I felt like I was going to faint, went back to the hostal, took a cold shower and lay around before going out again. I remember one of the days I had 7 showers. I’ve been there last 2 Octobers. Much better time to go. Still great weather, especially in comparison to northern Europe, but not as oppressively hot as in summer. Great city to visit, but I’d avoid May to September.
