I’ll take that.

Yes, i too would take Carlos back. But if he’s injured as much as Marcao is… :weary:

DC won’t be part of Loic Badé deal with Sevilla despite reports, per @FabrizioRomano

I heard that with Bade sale, Sevilla want to use it to get 2-3 players. I’d love to believe that but don’t see it personally. Hopefully we can be surprised.

We would have to. We already have two spots open assuming the Montiel deal is confirmed… Badé would make it three… Iheanacho would be 4.

I hope that with any sale of Bade we use it to sign a few decent players, preferably a few central defenders and a forward player to support Isaac.

Selling Bade and not adequately replacing him would be a disaster and I would fear the worst.

That’s true. Yeah we need them to replace the ones going. I can see why 4 players been touted I just hope they decent additions. We will see.

Does that mean that DC is coming here or just that he’s leaving Villa?

I read it as DC leaving but no link to Badé move

He’s being linked with a move to Turkey, either Galatasaray or Fenerbahce

So Montiel is officially headed to River Plate.

And Villa reportedly made their offer for Bade: €21m+4m. We’re apparently holding out for 30m, but i don’t see that happening.

Hope we keep Badé

I don’t know… I’m not 100% about Bade.

I mean, it would be best to keep him and pair him with a normal CB that actually understand football a bit. Plus Bade’s only 24 and we can build something through him… but if we can get 30m as requested… then that’s great.

At the same time, I don’t believe we’ll do anything decent with the money we get from him, so ultimately it’ll be best to keep him.

Latest rumors on strikers are Gio Simeone and Alerrandro, who plays for Bragantino in Brazil.

Gio sounds great if the stars align, given his dad’s a former Sevilla player. Not too convinced it’ll happen though. Then again, he’s only gotten 400 minutes in Serie all season (and crazy enough, 2 goals, 2 assists).

The Brazilian, I know nothing about him, but pronouncing his name will be an uphill battle, jeez. Ale-rran-dro? Somewhat comically, the RR in Brazilian Portuguese would basically mean it’s pronounced Alejandro, but I can’t imagine that’d be self evident to any match announcers.

Gio is good

I’m going to send in my experience, as I think I’ve got a good chance of starting in defence.
