One thing I fail to comprehend. Why the fuck is Sangante not playing?
Is he still injured enough to stay benched for 2 games in a row? Why even call him up at this point?
How come does LGP leave the defense in the hands of Castrin and Salas. This tragic duo has cost us a lot so far this season… and counting.
Instead of seeking for a solution in defense, even if it means changing the tactics to 3 at the back or something, LGP still fields and blindly believes in the despicable duo.
A broken clock is right twice a day so this pair may accidentally perform well in a match out of 5-6, but that’s still pretty terrible. We need Sangante back at all costs, even with 1 leg he’s still better than both Castrin and Salas who are below average CB’s. They lack basic football skills such as positional awareness, agility etc. I can find 5 CB’s in the fucking Turkish league (non Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas) who are better than this bunch.
Rant over about the CB’s. I hope Iglesias and Suazo are in a good mood tonight.
The rest of the squad looks ok, it’s good that Guridi and Kocho are back, they might help in the second half.
Hoping for Romero to get a goal, just as a middle finger to RFEF.
Considering our history with Nianzou & Marcao, rest Sangante as much as possible till he’s 100%. We’ll soldier on with Castrin & Salas for the time being. “The suffering is necessary.”
