Aw man that’s one Ure should do better on. Do think he is getting into the right positions but that’s not enough. He is only 22 though, so he could definitely develop his finishing and heading…

Lgp is using him for physical presence up front but that’s clearly not enough in modern football if you don’t know how to control the ball, head it, pass well etc.

The early naive goals cost us. LGP needs to sort out the starting formation.
We’re still not sure what the final squad will be, but from what we have now, I would go with:
Vlacho
Iglesias Sangante Castrin Suazo
A combination of Kocho, Guridi and Agoume in the mid, no Peque. It might look less attacking on paper but we could see that Kocho can help up front too. Peque is utter crap.
Sierra - Isaac - Ejuke
Ure is not offering the things LGP thinks he should offer up front. He should be benched, doesn’t deserve full minutes at all.
In overall the squad is still weak as it is, on paper at least. But it should quite well do the job for the main objective, which is to survive for another season in La Liga.

I hope another striker comes into the mix. It seems LGP wants to play with 2, but right now we only have 2, so he doesnt have any option from the bench if he has to make a sub. I believe that as soon as/if we get another striker in, he will play 4-4-2.
its also mindblowing how Ejuke doesnt start more games. Yes he is a good player to sub on to make stuff happen, but We lack that X Factor for almost 60mins pr game. Its very clear how much it helps and does for our team when we have someone able to bring that flair. Especially since we can’t pass it around the opponent like prime Barca. We are dependent on wingers with flair.
sucks losing at home to Atletico, but I didnt expect to win either.

It’s incredible how, after a game, some people on this forum seem to do nothing but go after Robbie Ure.
For me, Suazo was the weakest player on the pitch today. At least ED Press seems to agree with me on that.
Personally, I thought the first 30 minutes were better than either of the first two games in their entirety. But then Lee came on and, with his individual quality, showed exactly why PSG paid €35 million for him.
It was obvious to me that a team like Atlético would be able to cope even with both of their strikers missing. Lookman was ice-cold for the 2-0.
Like LGP, I’m extremely angry that OSO left us. The core of the team has been torn apart, and the transfer window is almost closed.
I think we’ve made a good signing in Guridi, and Agoumé also looks better to me so far than he did last season. But despite Kochorashvili… where is our Lee? Peque is just average for me.
Sevilla fans usually want strong, physical strikers, but they often seem to forget that strikers need good passes and service as well.
The two opening wins covered up a lot of problems, and I think there is at least one positive thing about today’s defeat: we clearly still need new players!

If Sevilla ever has as much money as Bayern Munich, then we can go out and sign a Harry Kane too. He doesn’t just score a lot of goals — he also drops into midfield to get the ball and is a very good provider of assists.
But maybe we should also give our strikers a bit of time.
