Thought this article was interesting. Actually surprised we aren’t in the list… but then thinking through and not nearly enough young guys breaking through with the big team. Most of Monchis magic is in the transfer market. Curious on others’ thoughts.

Trying to remember what’s the latest actual youth player that we sold for big gains? The list in the article is since 2015. I can only come to Alberto Moreno, and Sergio Rico but we didn’t get much money for the latter either. From this year of course Bryan Gil for about 25m. Would put us at around 45-50 total. So yeah, logically we don’t make it.

Being a tradeport with raising values is one thing, home grown developing is another.

Anyone know why we loaned out Ryan Johannson this season? We loaned him to the first division Dutch squad, Fortuna Sittard, who are sitting at 15th (4 points from last) in the table. He has only played in eight matches and 386 minutes this season.

I really liked what I saw from him last season. You would think he would be better served getting minutes with SAT instead of sitting on the bench with a cellar dweller.

Sevilla Atlético win the Junior Derbi, a narrow 1-0 win thanks to a Luismi goal - massive three points

With today’s win against Barca B and 2 more games to go, Sevilla Atletico are one step closer to avoiding relegation and playing in Primera RFEF for another season. We’re 4 points ahead of Sanluqueno and Cornella (16th and 17th respectively, relegation zone) so we’ll need 3 points for Sanluqueno and 2 points for Cornella (better h2h) in the next two matches against Gimnastic (away) and Linares (home).

Can the guys stay in the league @SurreySevilla ?

Sevilla Atletico walking on very thin ice after the loss vs. Gimnastic yesterday.

Huge match coming up here in an hour. Win and we are safe. Tie or lose and we have to hope for results elsewhere.
