Sevilla almost excluded from the League in 1995?

I have never heard of this, in fact I came across it when I was reading Jose Maria Del Nido’s Wikipedia page, does anyone know about this, and what almost caused Sevilla FC to be banished from the Professional Leagues?

" In August 1995, club president Luis Cuervas resigned while Sevilla was embroiled in a controversy that could have seen the club excluded from Spanish football’s two professional leagues (Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional) for administrative reasons. Del Nido was interim president until October, and during this time the team was reinstated and the league expanded from 20 to 22 clubs as a result."

I’ve written about this before on one of the various Del Nido threads. It was quite a scary scenario.
