Sad. I’ve got fond memories of Nasri from his stay at Sevilla.
Some of the most fun football Sevilla have played under Sampaoli, his tactics almost solely revolved around Nasri.
Me too… I really liked his style of play but sometimes he was too selfish and kept the ball too long in a way that ruined the action. He messed up big time against Leicester, but in overall played very well that season. These behind the scene things reveal a lot that we didn’t know at the time - obviously he wasn’t in the best mental state to play in the second part of the season and it showed with his drop in performance.
I’m having a tough time wrapping my head around the fact that he’s only 34. I feel like he played for us like 10 years ago… A lot has happened since the 2016/17 season.
